The booty warrior returns again for another round . How does this Hibari compare to the original. Lets take a closer look.
While Hibari may seem slow and clumsy her fighting style once mastered is far from so and is still one of if not the easiest character to use in the game.
Yin mode / non turnover form
Again like mostly characters Hibari starts out mostly the same. the same her basic strings for the most part work the same and her simple X cancel X or X>A>X>A infinite is still in the game unchanged surprisingly and it still gives you a ton of exp so you can level up with her very easy and just walk through the game. most of this all was true for the first game as well with her only major game changing move she has been givin is her Air X attack. Holy mother I thought her old attack was cool but this new version is just so over powering there is no way to discribe it. Imagine having a single button super that you can do when ever you jump and when you jumped you would use this to kill all enemies but before you land on the ground you did a double jump to cause more havoc. And after all this is done since that attack you are using is X once you land you go right into her infinite. LOL. I know the producer said she is is fav character but this is crazy now. all of this and I have not go in to any advance combos or movment or ninpou because she does not non of it in this form and many others.
Yin mode/ turnover transformed
In this form she is givin a bunch of new moves but they really don't compare to what I just said and would was more time and give less combos and be weaker then what I said before. In this form her extra moves are really just for show. Hibari's ninpou has not changed much each does the same thing and as the same advantage and disadvantage like in the first game. Her new ninpou on the other hand and one where she grows big and hits you with her butt is one of the most uniffective and time wating ninpou in the game. thats smply just for showing off.
Senran mode/ secret art unlocked
With the armor off Hibari now has to play more seriously..... nah im joking you can still jump back and abuse her air X attack. on thing that changed is strings are usles other then quick launchers and her infinite will get stopped once you get hit. but that still does not stop the fun everywhere else. With a new form comes new attacks and one of the ones I loved from the first game was her bunny attack where she would summon a bunny that would show up on screen and would move around and if it hit an enemy it would launch them in to the air, ths could be used for some cool set ups. While its still in the game for both Yin and senran mode its not as good as it use to be and is upstaged by Rin's move. I would also like to say her dive attack is one of the worst in the game and diving down with your butt may sound cool and look cool but good gameplay it does not make.
Yang mode/ bikini form
This form is the only form where is sucks to be her. Low health stamina, crap nnpou, nerfed limit break. All you have is her air X attack and her dive attack and any kind of movment skills you have with her. He dash movment is not bad and has a rhythm to it like a few characters since you have to always keep n mind X does an attack after its pressed but not when you press X then go back in to A right away. So you only get the movment but no attack. This is easily her hardest form to use but strongest at killing thigs at least.
I would say Hibari got a huge buff from the last game. In the last game only thing she was lacking was the Ikaruga air abilities and Ninpou's as well as stopping power but she sure killed 2 birds with one stone as they would say with her new or upgraded attack.
