What comes to her gameplay, well, she could be faster but its mainly thanks to her moves where she keeps to pose in the end. As normal she is pretty horrible but after Shinobi Transformation / Shinobi Tenshin, she is much better but leaves openings once more because of her posing after the moves. Also her attacks are pretty easy to read but if you can hit them, them will cause quite a big damage. On normal fight situation, I would prefer to use a lot of breaks and then use the openings to cause damage or bomb your opponents. Also Hanabi to me is one of those whose "one scroll move" is more handy than "two scroll move."
EDIT: After watching more of her gameplay, to have different moveset and to make her faster one, most Hanabi players seems to go directly to frantic mode. Also after my own test, would say that frantic mode works very well for her.

She is energetic, friendly, honest and can be pretty hillarious at times. She might not be the smartest person around but she has a really big heart. About her moveset, well, she's a little bit slow on her attacks but I think that the damage she inflicts makes up for it. I really like her Breach Art which is quite useful when you're being surrounded by enemies. Overall, she is a pretty explosive character !!!! |

Her energetic and friendly nature, and her DOKAAAN! moments are why I like Hanabi the most out of the Mikagura sisters. Renka is alright, since I like tomboyish characters like her, but Kafuru annoys me a little bit with her attitude, and her constant water gun attacks (particularly when she's set as an enemy to fight). Of course, I wish Hanabi was little a bit faster with her attacks, even if they do heavy damage. Her Arts make up for it, but if she can move faster, that'd be great. |

Wow, thanks to both Theodos and Nobu Narukami for answers and it´s really nice to hear what others think about Hanabi. She has been on my top 5 almost from the beginning. She might be slow, hard to combo and don´t have very good moves but I also like about her energetic side and as Theodos said, she might not be the smartest girl but she has a pure heart and she can be funny too. Maybe she has got too many hits for her head (when you beat her, you know what I mean.) Also as Nobu instead said, for all the Mikagura sisters, she is clearly my fave. I was thinking of Renka on one point as I kinda have a thing to characters which are tough, a bit cold but when opens up, sweet and caring but surprisingly, Hanabi won that battle. Maybe it´s a thing about her look, I don´t know. What I also like on Hanabi... maybe the most is her moments when she kinda don´t get the things which leads to trouble or as on the card photo, looks kinda scared. She seems to have so many sides and overall she is a well made character with depth. Also currently I am on a mission a bit. I still play a lot of Imu,Shiki,Yumi who are my top3 but I´ve also started to get more interested for Ayame and Hanabi. edit: oh and unfortunately, still the best of Hanabi as a fighter you get at frantic mode. |
