I think you can play them when you want. I see. That’s really great! Thanks for the info!~ But are you sure? Even holiday events? I’m asking because I’ve seen things about “timed events”, and “event starting/finishing dates”… That’s awesome! Y’all are really dedicated; it’s very inspiring!
I am currently creating a Chrome extension that can save information about the different cut-scenes into its local storage as you play them. This “information” includes things like dialogue, character name, character image and background image, but is not limited to those. The idea is to eventually create an app that provides an interface for users to better organize this information and share it with others. I might be able to get a server, so that people can share this information within the app itself. More interestingly, it could allow people to provide translations for different languages, which might allow me to replace the original text with the translated text, as one is playing the game — which I think would be pretty freaking dope!
Sorry for the delayed reply, I saw your response a couple of minutes after you posted it, but I only had time to reply now…

Sorry for the delayed reply, I saw your response a couple of minutes after you posted it, but I only had time to reply now… You're welcome and I suggest you to NOT translate them cuz google sucks at japanese translation and japanese is a particular language, there are various form to say "I" for istance. They're about 20 from what I remember, and even the suffix at the end of the phrases changes, so its definitely better the original. Like I said I can translate something, usually the general sense is correct but phrase by phrase I can do it only when there aren't difficult kanjis(I do translate abot 100 of them, the most common ones.) All Kanjis are over 9000 and not all the japanese people knows all of them(and they have a differt reading depending on the situation), in fact they usually have the hiragana translation over them but not always sadly. If there would have been hiragana over them I would translate the phrases very easily but on NewWave they don't use this. Like I said I can try to translate them but there might be some error, usually there are not cuz I go for the general sense, that's why I don't do phrase by phrase. Anyways if you want to share something you are more than welcome! I almost forgot the events limitated means that u get those cards in the limitated time but the event scenes are always available. I hope this helped.

I got the rest of the Paint Ball Chapters. I'm hoping that someone can translate these. I'm especially interested in Nachi and Yomi's exchange, and normally, I would expect Yomi to lash out at her for being rich, but something's different about their conversation. I think Nachi's teaching Yomi how to say sorry, maybe from Google's translation. imgur.com/a/r0V8dimgur.com/a/3LNoi

I feel like I can use this thread to log progress on my Chrome extension and app. So, I think I’ve reached a point where it is about half-usable — it currently can save dialogue information in Chrome’s local storage, and has a very primitive way to inspect this information. It honestly has been taking more time than I first expected, however it also has been going better than I expected as well. What has been taking me most time is the character images. I think they use ephemeral URLs, so I’ve been reading about different offline-storage technologies to save them as BLOBs. I have tried different technologies, such as indexedDB, FileSystem, and saving them as Base64 in Chrome’s local storage. I have not been happy with any of those implementations, so currently, it simply assumes the URLs are permanent and simply saves a segment of the URL. Honestly, I should actually test their ephemerality — if they actually are permanent, the problem would be instantly solved. Yet to do: Make an actual good app to inspect and interact with the data. The current one is literally horrifying! edit: A couple years ago I’ve written some CSS for several HTML elements. I never thought I’d be actually using it, but it might be finally coming in handy… ☺

Okay, I have reached two conclusions: I suck at web design; making Chrome apps is hard! The app is now a tiny bit less horrible. I decided I would upload the items. Windows and Mac users: Consider switching to Canary. Alternatively, get Linux!
It works like this: - Install both the extension and the app
- Go play a cutscene through Mobage (the extension does the U.A. spoofing)
- Open the app
- local>submit>cryptic-looking-thingie
Keep in mind that the only character images that work for now are Asuka’s and Ikaruga’s. Yet to do: - Make an actual good app
- Get a server (long-time)
- Get someone to help me (anyone interested?)
- ???
edit: Guys, I asked politely to the Chrome Web Store team, and was able to publish the items to the Web Store! Now you can download both the extension and the app through the Web Store! edit: Derp derp derp derp derp. You guys might want to enable ES6 (chrome://flags/#enable-javascript-harmony). I completely forgot I had this flag turned on, and made my extension dependent on it. Although, I’m a version late with Chrome, so it might not be needed anymore.

Okay, I’ve reached two new conclusions: making Chrome apps is not as hard when you know what you’re doing; I still suck at web design. I’ve spent yesterday working on the app, now it allows you to translate the cut-scenes! I’ve put my old styles into use, but still, the placement of the elements remains awful. However, even if it might not look like much changed besides the styles, I completely revamped the app code-wise. I’m still thinking about an way to allow people to share the translations while the server isn’t a thing. Anyone have an idea? Still, only Asuka and Ikaruga. Also, make sure both the app and the extension are on the same version (0.0.3)!
Sorry for triple-posting. I’m unsure about how to deal with this. Should I continue multi-posting? Should I just edit my last post on the thread to share updates? I feel like multi-posting is better, but I might be alone.

Does anyone have a good Japanese translator?

Sadly the only japanese translator that is free is google translate and it translates japanese really bad... the only good way to translate japanese for free is to ask to someone who knows it(sadly there are really a few people who knows it well) or you can spend some money on Babylon(it translates way better than other translators) here's the official site: translation.babylon.com/japanese/Or, if you don't want to spend money, or you can't find anyone who can help, then the only option is to learn it. Japanese isn't so difficult, the best way to learn it is watch subbed anime, listen and try to repeat songs and play videogames(that's how I've learned it), but you can also go on good sites where there are lessons and corrects some common mistakes(there are great sites out there and, also, you can go on youtube where people teach it very well). I hope I've been clear as possible.

I don't have the app nor on my phone nor on my pc. This mean I've never played that. :'( Sorry, I missed that, since you haven’t mentioned nor quoted me. You don’t need to have had the app! Since the extension does U.A. spoofing, as long as you have the extension, you can simply go to the game’s page on Mobage on your Desktop computer and rejoice! Either way, my next update might be perfect for you. I’m working on allowing people to share translations using paste.ee. That means that, for example, I can play through the entire game, share with you an about-five-character-long code, you can input it on the app, and, without having played the game at all, you’ll have all the cut-scenes! It should be done later today (2016-02-21 in Brasília Time). And sorry for the delay, school ’n’ stuff.

Okay, I’ve finished it. It should be up on the Web Store in a couple minutes. Yet to do: - Add more styles
- Make use of more old styles
- Fix buttons’ “working” state style
- Use LESS
- Handle network errors better
- Add more character besides Asuka and Ikaruga
- Add an way to delete cut-scenes
- Add an way for people to get the raw markup of the cut-scenes, instead of posting to paste.ee
- Add an way for people to create their own stories
- Add an way for people to load stories from non-SSL websites
- Improve accessibility
- Just make the UI better overall
It works really simply: - {local>share} to share cutscenes and get a paste.ee code
- {paste.ee} to enter and load a code. Alternatively, you can enter an HTTPS URLs such as example.net/raw/foobar.txt
- {direct} to load stories from raw markup
I tried to make the generated raw markup the most human readable possible. I think it works nicely! You can see it by going to paste.ee/r/INSERT_CODE_HERE. Make sure both the app and the extension are on the same version (0.1.0)!
