So I thought of something. Along with getting a job I was thinking of also volunteering for an animal shelter on weekdays when my parents are off and the weekends. That way I can enjoy helping what I love which are animals, meet new people, and have fun. Maybe then as I continue to work there then I'll probably be able to work there in the future, so it would be two birds with one stone. I've gotten a flyer from the last shelter I went to with my sister and completely forgot about it until I saw it on my shelf as I was cleaning my room.
I just wanted to ask. Is there any advice perhaps from anyone who has been through it before?
