Stuff to do at launch (and what we can get done right now)

Better to have the post here then, instead of digging through that thread. Makes it easier for people to find. So I'll post your quote here for ease.

So first:

Any old streetpass doesn't work. Must be an SK2 player streetpass.
That means it's gonna be a challenge.

Chapter 2 quickly adds all the Hebijo costumes in 3 missions, but then plows you through 7-8 more with no rewards aside from a steady drip of music and plot pictures.

After clearing Chapter 2, you are given the Cheongsam, Pajama, Sorceress, Kimono, and Ribbon Dress costumes as well as another handful of accessories.


The early missions pose moderate challenge only, with the challenge dropping away to nearly nothing as you start into the pair Hebijo invasion missions. But it WILL spike back up again on Homura's Solo mission, followed by her pair missions.

Clear both of her Pair Missions and victory is yours - the way opens to Chapter 3.


3. Priority and damage is something you have to wrap your head around in combat. Each character features high priority attacks in their strings, and generally speaking, low "stick" attacks have high damage and high combo count, driving up EXP. The fastest way to reclaim control of the tempo is a Short Hop - to - Heavy Attack, which drives foes back in a fashion similar to a Limit Break. Weaker enemies will be driven airborne by this, where they can easily be followed by tapping R and then comboed in midair.

But tougher foes will not give way so lightly - mistiming an R pull will waltz you right into their comboes, and they tend to recover from knockbacks easily. A patient mind can read their opponent's strings, and evade their Supers. Hold a direction and Tap R to slide away from the battle. Remember, whenever possible, to move forward to avoid, so you can continue to see and follow your enemy clearly.  

Low priority moves include fast attack strings,
followed by heavy attack strings,
followed by the Hop Heavy attack,
followed by Tag Counter when pair fighting, 
followed by Supers,
capped by the Short Dash.

Other moves fall in this spectrum. Be aware that engaging the Hop Heavy, Tag Counter, Supers and Short 
Dash all lock your character into moves. Supers burn super meters. Hop Heavy clears enemies away, but you can't move for a short time afterward, which can make you vulnerable to projectiles in particular. The Tag Counter interrupts your ally's actions which can weaken their damage, and put them in harm's way as well against stronger opponents.

With that said...

Homura's solo mission is perhaps the toughest stage of the block. The constant projectiles and harassment and huge number of enemies makes Scarlet Homura nearly a joke in comparison. I suggest charging up and then going Frantic in both fights.

The "mini-boss" of stage 2 is extremely mean, with a lot of high priority and great recovery. You won't get much for comboes before he comes back at you. Use Tag Counter, LOTS.
The Yoma of stage 2 is most easily beaten by spamming supers.

Another thing, the tag utterly wrecks the game's difficulty. You can tag at any point on your combos, so if you tag continuosly not only you will rack a pretty massive combo in a very short time, it will utterly demolish the AI since it won't be able to properly answer at the barrage of attacks. Of course, if you mess the timing, you're gonna be punished BADLY.

Doing this also will make raise affection a breeze, I raised Kat an Hikage from 9 to 50 on just one level

I found a possible oversight on Goza's (the squid youma) coding. You can beat her by simply attacking her main tentacles -the ones she uses to smack you around- on the point they fuse with the ship. They have a hitbox there and due the placement the only thing Goza can do to damage you is spam the ink projectiles but those are barely noticeable. The reason I believe is an oversight is the fact the lock on doesn't acknowledge that hitbox as a target.
