It's an unusual out of nowhere question but I ask because it seems I get colds about once every couple weeks or so.
I've been told it's not normal and to go to a doctor which I did but I haven't gotten an explanation. It's been going on as long as I can remember but I guess it just seems normal to me. ~
*I'm only referring to colds and flus. ~

1-2 times a year for 24-96 hours periods generally when the seasons change from Winter to Spring and Summer to Autumn.

Sounds like your doctor isnt a very good one if he didnt say what was wrong. It sounds like you have a weak immune system. But uh, I get sick around 3-4 times a year, if that.

I used to get colds almost often until I had my flu shot last year and ever since I haven't had any colds and flus. Which feels really relieving.

I never get ill, or anything like that for some reason. I literally get hit by cars more often than I get sick. And yes, some jackass went through a red light while I was on a pedestrian crossing and clipped me two years ago.

Well it definitely didn't seem to help me. That might be why but it seems even if I try to reduce it it's only partially successful, but I'm glad you don't get ill very often. ~ No problem! ~ I used to get colds almost often until I had my flu shot last year and ever since I haven't had any colds and flus. Which feels really relieving. You know, the funny thing is I got updated on all my shots, I do whenever needed and while it does seem to help mostly right after I get it as time goes on I get back into the pattern of getting sick more frequently. I'm glad you haven't though. ~ ^~^ I never get ill, or anything like that for some reason. I literally get hit by cars more often than I get sick. And yes, some jackass went through a red light while I was on a pedestrian crossing and clipped me two years ago. Strong immune system, I suppose. That is horrible though I can't ever recall being hit by a car but I nearly got into a horrible accident myself a few years back. I'm still glad you don't get sick though. ~

I rarely get sick, but when I do, it's usually minor colds that aren't severe enough for me to not go to work or school, though they can take about 2-3 days to completely go away.

Same as BlackJak. Though I do get allergies a lot, they're more of an annoyance to me than anything heheh.

Gonna sound like a broken record, but I rarely get sick. A minor cold 1 or 2 times a year. Last major flu was 5 years ago. To all who have an ailment, I hope you get well soon. Here: A tissue for your issue.

I'm noticing the older I get the less I get sick. I used to always get sick.

I have an extremely strong immune system (maybe since I've never taken antibiotics?) so I don't get sick often and it never lasts more than a few days. I've only had a fever like three times, too. My parents raised me on "homeopathic" medicine, and even though I know it doesn't really work the placebo effect is still enough to keep me healthy. Well, that and like 30 vitamin supplements, my mom's a nutrition nerd.
