Rin and Daidouji are clearly broken with there health at 9999 this is way above even Homura(crimson) who's health tops out around 2740 so no futher detail is needed to explain these 2.
Rin beats Daidouji Simply do to the speed of her limit break and amount of set ups in her Senran form. Her ninpou also gives her field control with a move that can kill almost instant while she is still able to move around something unlike all field controlling ninpou.
Daidouji - She is the tank of the game and in her fullly powered form just her limit break can kill anyone outside of Rin. Surprisingly fast when air dashing and her air ninpou pretty much makers her hard to even approuch even if you can dodge the limt break.
Yagyuu - Yagyuu would be the best in the game if not for Dai and Rin since now she has everything ground game improved air game and combos and can control the field like Haruka and Hikage. She is also the only true close range and long range character now
Homura(crimson)- Comes next because she has the senran weakness and there is no way she can get in to attack alot of characters since she is so slow but her huge health gauge and limit break luncher can be end game for many no matter how long it takes her to get in. Add to that a crazy ninpou and she is set.
Haruka(lab coat)- In this form she does double damage and can be played as a ranged character with a projectile that has many usses. This along with her other abilitys put her way up top.
Haruka(no coat) - Without her coat Haruka is much weaker and has to fall back on her great movement and ninpou. Overall she is weak and inclose. With the lose of her extra damage she is a joke but her other abilitys are far above that of other characters outside of power.
Yomi - Yomi has a bunch of moves and may look slow but has the best air dash attack in the game next to Daidouji so she has power as well as speed plus great overall tools and can be played at any range. Yomi also has one of the strongest ninpou's in the game.
Hibari - While Hibari does not have a lot of attacks like the others she is one of the easiest to use with 2 of the most damaging normal moves in the game. She never really need to use ninpou but for defending and evading. She is pretty much your lame annouying character. little work for easy wins.
Hikage - She is another character with some cheap moves mainly her launchers but besides that she is the fastest in the game and has full field control like Haruka and Yagyuu. Only downside is she has to get in close and she is not that strong. She does however have a strong ninpou.
Asuka - She has gotten worst even after the new ninpou that can't really be used for anything big to her overall playstyle so she is pretty much the same she just has great speed and power keeping her from the bottom.
Mirai - Her only short cummings is she is weak and she is a hard character to use. She has alot of great tools like the other Hebi girls its just that using them correctly and the end results for damage done does not match up.
Ikaruga- Even though she is much better then she was in the first game she still suffers from being slow and hard to use with little mix up in her attacks. She has a really strong ninpou if you can land it.
Katsuragi - The most nurffed character in the game compared to her original self. She never was a power character but now her attacks lack the push knock back that they did making her extremely hard to use with no gimmicks like the other characters. She does keep her chainable ninpou's some what making her a ninpou monster.
Homura - Homura is a close range fighter but lacks so much stuff that the other girls have. The best thing about her is her first ground ninpou outside of that you have to do extra work for just abouut everything and with her short dash's and no real air dash air or ground attack to get anything started it becomes clear that she had the least amount of thought put into her fighting style. Don't know if this ment to be this way because of her weapons of choice or the story but she is very un polished.
Hikage(frenzy) Hikage in frenzy is kinda cool and has its upsides but the fact that too use this art you have to get her in like 30 % health state, you can not gain to much or any health, you can't limit break and are always on the look out to be killed. Lets not mention it has a time limit before she changes back. This form is to hard to control even if you get a few extra benifits.
So this is what I have so far I may do another update if I can of all the 48 types if I can remember that much stuff. Would have loved if they let you use the boss versions since they are diffrent as well.
Looks like I may Have to revise this since Hibari is even stronger then I thought, Seems there is something wrong with the damage of her air Kunai attacks and they do way more damage then they should on stronger enemies.
If anyone with the game wants to see use Hibari and pick to battle the 5 hebi girls in a row. Beat one of them using any attacks but jumping X then when the next girl is up only use jumping X but use it where you keep jumping and hitting them. Once you do this watch how faster there life bar drops compared to using Ninpou and long combos.
So ya much more broken character then I thought since any hiit can lead into her infinite from that anyway. Damn the producer really did like Hibari.
Told You. I knew it was OP but I thought it was just for normal enemies I did not know it rips through the highest boss level characters so easy. that added with the fact that once you land on the ground the x attack is an infanite is just crazy.
Its like infinite attacks and Ninpou. Her Bikini for is still pretty crap as these things can't be used because you need to be at a distance to do this and she will easily get hit and killed. I may test the power of that attack in this form next.
So there has been a few changes you can see with my new discovery of Both Homura's normal Homura jumps up with her ability to use ground attacks in the air as well as ground ninpo. Also her ground ninpou is one of the best when you play through on harder settings.
Homura(crimson)So ya she is now moved into broken tier after i found out that that limit break can be used as a re launch into a combo at anytime so if you are in the air in a long combo and it drops just limit break to go back in to the combo or you want to case another enemy in the air hit them with the limit break and chase after them.it basiclly becomes an unlimited chase move if you have enough energy to burn.
Kasuragi came up a bit because her air ninpo in now critical to her main game and and its more about gaining meter and using that then the others since she still can move while the ninpo is going if you do it close to the ground. also its full range so it kinda changes the way you have to look at her.
Ikaruga also moves a bit up simple for her great air control with her normal attacks and dashing and manual combo's. Her and Asuka are maybe the most creative you are going to be able to get with making up combos yourself.
Mirai falls a bit because after more time even though she has some nice tech to mess with her power and stamina still let her down in the end. The down side now I see in her is her ninpou's just leave her too open and her limit break has no range. Sure Yomi has the same problems but Yomi has a better dash and Yomi has one of the best air dash attcks in the game that is an all purpose move. So i decided to bump mirai down.
as for the rest it seems everyone stays the same like I said I think Asuka is a little better but this has more to do with creating combos yourself with her not her ability's.
