If it made from scratch, they can. If they ported from EV then legal trouble will happen unless we get permission from Marvelous JPN(Good luck with that). I hope we ca add & not replace stuff in this game or otherwise. Hope for a true PC game of Senran that made for modding. I assume due to dlc reasons. Cause they cant stop modding entirely, Takaki has wanted to see mods, and so on. Cause I can sculpt most of the goodies in zbrush, and I've got rigging and animation classes this quarter, so... Not too much of a stretch really.

Someone over at the LoversLab forums has nude mod for Homura. The only problem is, it applies her skin to every girl and they are trying to find a workaround

someone over at loverslab posted they're working on an extractor/repacker tool. saying he's able to extract most of the files, just not yet the repacking! made an account over at loverslab to be able to view his pictures he attatched to his post. looks promissing! linkpictures by kychan1 over on loverslab: {Spoiler} EDIT! someone else posted a link to a tool they made that supposedly works for extracting and repacking CAT files going to test it now! EDIT 2: Can confirm it works! tool here: linkthe models are .TMD_TOON / .TMD files the textures are .dds files, so at least we can do texture modding right away, models will require another tool by the looks of it. If I have the time I'll probably write up a .cat file list to indicate what files correspond to which costume. folders: Player models (&textures) : nnj - shinobi costumes (after tenshin) std - school uniform costumes (pre-tenshin) acc - accessories hair - ... hair.. duh! enemy - enemies (pretty obvious there) environments: field - stages fieldobj - stage objects (probably level props or background objects) others: items - items dunno what this is for?? gimmick - empty folder I'll (when I have time) go through a bunch of CAT files to try and identify stuff as much as possible and then make a big list and drop it on here to make it easier for people to find the stuff they want to mod

If anybody is going to mess around with the model files, here are the characters each number is associated with: 00 - Asuka 01 - Ikagura 02 - Katsuragi 03 - Yagyu 04 - Hibari 05 - Homura 06 - Yomi 07 - Hikage 08 - Mirai 09 - Haruka 10 - Yumi 11 - Murakumi 12 - Yozakura 13 - Shiki 14 - Minori 15 - Miyabi 16 - Murasaki 17 - Imu 18 - Ryoubi 19 - Ryouna 20 - Daidouji 21 - Suzune/Rin credit to Cerophono from loverslab for posting these there edit: looks like people figured out model conversion! WOOOOOH~! (there's a model import tool for 3ds max, don't know if there's an export function. I'll look into it ) EDIT2: it looks like there's a tool to import to 3ds max, not an export tool though. appearantly the SK file format is really similar to hyper neptunia U? stuff about the model import tool can be found over here on xentax: linkthe way the character models are built seems to be the same way as in SK2, which is nice, because that way it should be easy-ish to port over models from SK2 when an export tool appears. I must say all of these tools being available within a week is pretty amazing, it usually takes modders a lot more time to figure this stuff out. It also helps that most formats are very similar to Neptunia U's formats...

Well once the model is exported into max, I could just save it as an obj and import it into zbrush (I find working in zbrush a lot better than max personally), but from there I'm not so sure. I cant wait for finals to be over so I can go nuts on this.

Okay so I have been playing around with trying to texture the skin with tattoos, but I cannot figure out how to keep the textures in high quality. When I put them into the game, the textures get super blurred out and look awful... anyone know how to save files in high quality that the game will use properly?

Guys if someone is able to extract models or ingame pictures(like the chibis) or voice files can share it please? :3 I need especially models cuz I use XNALara and I would love to do some renders with the original SK models(of course I'll try to find a way to convert them for Xnalara and share it)!

As what are you saving the texture? and what are you using to edit the textures? most textures in SV are using the .dds DTX3/DTX5 format, if you use photoshop with the NVidia DDS plug-in you should be able to save them as those formats.

HAHAHA, I didn't expect that character switching through cheat engine'd be THIS easy!! I found the character related value immediately! Playing as Asuka in Hebijo story 1-1: Asuka infiltrated the Hebijo Homeroom too! I also tried switching to an invalid player ID, that of a nonexistant character, at first it showed a level 1 Rin as the character head in the stage select and then it caused the game to forever get stuck in a loading screen. so yeah.. don't do that also there's one big down (or upside?) to this... when I finished the level as Asuka the EXP was given to Myabi, as she is "Player 1" from hebijo. I tried the same with ryobi in Hanzo 1-1 and then the exp was given to Yagyu. but the game allows me to play with them just fine, all voices work, shinovi tenshin works fine, nippons work fine too. you're just leveling a different character than the one you're playing... in the homeroom everything also works fine, all menu options work, and you can go into the dressing room as that character. when switching though it'll be reset to the group of characters from the appropriate school. if you activate the cheat at the appropriate time you can even play as the "wrong" character in the personal stories! Ryobi in Yagyu's story: this causes the game to not load Yagyu's portrait and so it only shows katsuragi's, but the voice over audio from the story is still Yagyu even when I play as Ryobi
