So the time for entering has passed
and it's time to Vote!
The entries will be displayed with their number
above the picture with the name of the character
they're cosplaying as aswell as where
the character's from.
The voting period will last until the 06/22/2016
which is a week away, be sure to vote before then!
To vote, you simply put down the number of
the entry you like in a post on this thread
some rules before the entries:
1. please don't point out your/other people's entries, to avoid bias.
2. don't vote for your own entry as it will not be counted.
3. only 1 vote per person, so choose wisely!

These are all surprisingly good, but I'm gonna go with 2. Mero is very well recreated there.

Rather disappointed that a lot of these turned into what's pretty much dioramas. Ruins some of the charm of letting the cosplays speak for themselves. Hm...
I think I'm going with 5.

Well, why not make them look nice while we're at it, right? Because SK2 is the other tool for this contest. By using too many features besides accessories from EV, which are also affected by the Vita and PS4 versions, it creates large barriers that will make it harder for those that will use SK2 later on to compete. Besides that, it distracts from the most important aspect: the costume. By adding fancy backgrounds and posing groups it creates disparities between certain versions, and it takes causes people to vote for a scene, not a costume. There's a reason that there's both a diorama contest and a cosplay contest. |

I get your point and its not entirely wrong, but I think you're making it out to be a bigger issue than it actually will be. If your cosplay looks bad, it looks bad, and no poses or pretty dioramas can fix that. I'd like to think most people will choose based on the cosplay and how good it looks, rather than something like poses and whatnot in dioramas. All in all, just don't sweat it imo, I dont think it'll cause a notable gap. |
