This is high levels of official heresy. {Spoiler} Though I would be lying if I haven't always wanted to see Homura untanned. I think Homura looks better without her tan.

I might have posted this before, but what do you guys think are the chances they'll do a global release for this? There's barely any new content storywise, so there should be only a minimal amount of translation to be done, right?

I'd say it's decently likely, though if they did bring it over they might retranslate it anyway. I've seen some localizations of ports and remakes change things as they get better at translating or find a groove with the series.
Honestly I'm not very fond of the new characters renders from what I've seen. The artwork looks... wrinkled.

Wrinkled though?

Not sure how I feel about reusing the old openings from Portrait of Girls & the original Burst, but I do like the music. Who knows, they might give us something entirely different upon release.

I found here that all Gessen and Hebijo characters will come as (initially free, then paid) DLC, and Miyabi will join in a special Yumi prequel story. SO! Yumi gets a story part, though perhaps doesn't actually meet Hanzo and Hebijo, and Miyabi will play a role in it! I'm REALLY curious! Also kind of hoping they won't screw up and put Ryoubi and Ryouna in Hebijo, but seeing that they're just character DLC, without really playing in the story, I'm guessing they'll make that mistake.

I'm more concerned with how Yumi and Miyabi will interact with each other in this prequel story. Because timeline wise, they shouldn't even meet until SV, which takes place after Hebijo's defeat at the end of the original Portrait of Girls (and by extension Burst), and Miyabi fell in a coma after her battle with Ryouki. Of course, the prequel could always take place before that battle. Still, SV is where they met for the first time. How are they going handle this?

I could imagine that they're going to pull a 'they met, but just forgot', especially as far as Miyabi is concerned. Think a VERY selective memory loss. I hope they're going to prove me wrong though!

That wouldn't make any lick of sense, and it'd be incredibly lame if they did that. Maybe Ryouki is going to play a part of the plot as well, because she was a graduate of Gessen, therefore, Miyabi's part has more to due with Ryouki than Yumi.

This is likely never going to be a thing, but... Imagine a scenario where Yumi, during the events of Burst, is investigating on the mission from three (I think?) years earlier where Ryōki died and Miyabi used her Blood Riot technique before falling into a coma. Maybe we’d actually get to play as a frenzied Miyabi taking down a yōma (which wouldn’t be all that unlikely if we consider that Orochi is going to be in the game).
