In the west! “Of course, we’d like to release it overseas, but, one of the most important things about the game it’s not just an action game, it’s also very sexualized. What we would like to do, when Nintendo further builds up their infrastructure for downloadable games, is release it as a downloadable title.” - producer Kenichiro Takaki Link - www.siliconera.com/2012/12/13/kagura-producer-would-like-to-release-kagura-burst-as-a-3ds-download/SKB is already on it's way to the eShop in Korea. This could be the first step to getting this series over here! Overall I would say great news! ;D

Oh yeah
If Nintendo of America is looking at this then you must know that profit is incoming and you need to improve your E-Shop. Rise up to the challenge for some $$$$.

Like I said in the XSEED thread, I guess they're waiting for Nintendo to install that accounts system. I see a lot of posts on GameFAQs about people not wanting to buy full games on the eShop because as things are right now, if you lose the system, you lose the stuff you bought too.
kenichiro takaki is a man of the people

Hahaha.. So the ball is back in Nintendo's court when it comes to online.
I think this game would be an exception for people as it should be because they can't get it in the shop like other games so I don't think the buying on e-shop will be a factor the factor again is just Nintendo.
PSV version will be day one downloadable title.

The problem I see with that though is, how could the producer promote the game on the Eshop in an effective manner? Nintendo plans on using an account system that would link the 3DS and Wii U Eshop experience together (according to Iwata.) So unless he has major plans on releasing Senran Kagura on the 3DS and Wii U. I don't see his reasoning on Nintendo's online infrastructure needing to be built better. The game is coming out in Korea without any problems. And that's a country known for having ridiculous laws that limit people's freedom of expression. Just as GoNintendo's owner RawMeatCowboy said: "Hmmm...not quite sure what he means by 'build up their infrastructure'. The ability is out there now. Time to hop on it and get that game over here!"

Online promotion is the best bet as the target fanbase are anime fans who watch Raw and subbed anime online through both the legal and the dubious methods.

What he said is basicly is code word for Nintendo to put up the game and help advertise it like they do so many games on the japanese eshop. Also let use make a demo for the game. The japanese version never got one so now he is using code words to get his message across. In short what was said was "Korea put it up get your stuff together NOA and put it up"

If it was a download, do we know how much space it would take up? I just have the SD card that came with the 3DS (4GB?) and barely put anything on it so should have least 3GB on it. Of course, I'd upgrade if what it took to play it. Then buy it again if a physical release happened...

Were not talking about a game like Resident Evil Revelations.

Won't be that much space off the top of my head the Top 3DS games are RE:R little over 4 GB Tekken 3D little over 2GB KI:U around 1.7 GB SSF4 around 1.5 GB DOAD around 1.4 GB
Burst should come in around DOA:D
Note: all above games have many network features SK has none.

Nice. I should be good then if this comes to past. I may prefer physical, but cannot be picky.

If this happens, this entire thing will be a success (whether it was directly influential or not).
Go SIA! Hooray Takaki!
