No no senran kagura is a great series for all it has great characters, an enjoyable story and some good/fun action/gameplay. It just has fan-service too. Oh & welcome  Welcome to the boards! I hope you enjoy your stay and be active frequently =p And honestly Senran Kagura appeals to everyone. And if anything I think there are many girls/women who like the series despite it's obvious fanservice I'll be active all the time I can, don't worry Even if I'm a girl I don't mind the fansevice. Yeah, the SK girls are not my erotic dream but they are really beutiful and I'm somehow a bit jealous of them -.-" (I feel like Ryoubi and Mirai sometimes c_c) |

Hello All!
I have been following SK since a little bit before the original Japanese release. I finally dropped out of the goings on in the SK universe early July due to lack of information and doubts on a western release.
Well I saw a post on gamefaqs two days ago about the western release of Burst and literally freaked out. Hopped onto google to find out more info and this was one of the first to pop up. Had to join!
I look forward to making some forum and 3DS friends. Thanks everyone!

Hello! I just joined in yesterday but it's kind of rude to post first on the other sections without an introduction, no? I'm sagitari but you can call me 'sagittarius' as well. I am in fond of SK yet never played the games (YT/Nico are my options to watch the walkthroughs). Pleasure to meet you guys Hello minna-san!! Hello, everyone!
I am BCMCCMMNX. Some people might know this name, I use it in a lot of places.
To tell you the truth, I can't even remember when I first got interested in Senran Kagura formally. I remember seeing fanart start cropping up here and there, thinking "What is this?". I have been lurking on the XSeed forums for about a year, silently watching.
In reality, I wanted to support the movement to get SK localized actively, but I couldn't really tell if the movement was having any effect or not. However, I do support this series in one way: my DS broke, and I needed to replace it. So I made an ultimatum: if SKB got to the US, I'd get a 3DS. If not, I'd get a DS Lite somewhere. Suffice it to say I'll be getting a 3DS soon.
Outside of SK, I am formally studying game design, and have a great interest in games as entertainment, and as an object of study, for what they are and what I can learn from them. SK greatly interests me in that area, as it is a game that has successfully combined solid gameplay, a good story, AND fanservice.
I hope to have some fun while I'm here.

Not really. I just felt like this place was more appropriate as a place to be as a fan (although also going to XSeed forums isn't out of the question). Also, I had some questions I wanted to pose in other places, so I needed to be on here anyways.
