Well I'm another new one here. And I'm from Brazil too, just like CitrusHeart there.
Is she cosplaying Nemissa from Soul Hackers or it is just me? Looks epic, anyway.

No more unrelated business here... let's get to the introduction thing.
I got here because of the wiki. When I'm playing a game that I start to like enough to want to know more about and get information I usually go to the respective wiki (if there's one) and somewhere else that has information that I judge reliable and those wikies tend to have those.
Going there was an awesome thing to do, because is one of the reasons that made me like even more the series.
I saw the forum link on the first page of the wiki and, after days of reading some posts and thinking about entering or not the forum, I finally decided to enter the forum. I do not have any friends playing Senran Kagura or even watching (or finished watching) the anime to start a conversation about the series so I decided to enter here. I entered to get even more information about the series too and the actual opinion of the players...
I got on the wiki after I played about 20 or 30 hours of gameplay of Senran Kagura Burst on my 3DS. I was dumbfounded by how awesome the game actually was. When I first bought it I was just excpeting a game with action e fanservice (two things I like very much) but with some hours of gameplay I realised that this game actually had a story and it was very good and well written (with some flaws, of course, nothing is perfect). I even stopped playing everything else on the 3DS to play this game.
The awesome concepts, characters and the whole storytelling was something I definitely wasn't expecting, since you simply do not expect that much of something that looks like a fanservice centered game, especially now days when the fanservice media tends to focus only on the fanservice and forgets everything else...
Anyway... This is how I felt when I played the first game released in the Americas. I'm still playing it though, but I don't plan to finish in a 100% because it is too much trouble and I have to get back to Ace Attorney and Pokemon X on my 3DS (have some unfinished business there).
And I apologize for my bad english. I'm more fluent reading than writing and speaking. Thankfully there is a spell check here... which because of that damn connection is not working...
So... that is my small journey.

Welcome all new comers. I hope you enjoy this place and find the info you need.
I always told myself if I was to cosplay it has to be someone with a mask so it will feel more real because you can get real looking gear.

I'm from Curitiba, Parana! o/ Yup, it's Nemissa from Soul Hackers! I was suprised to see that someone recognized my cosplay, people rarely do, and say that ressembles another character they know about... Very doubt who someone will recognize Haruka. The funny thing is that i love characters and games that are not so popular in the west.  Thanks for the compliment, and thanks for all welcoming! And sorry, my english is somewhere bad too! XDD Welcome, Citrus! Cosplaying as Haruka is something reserved for the brave! Yeah, lots of little clothing! luckly Haruka have a huge "cape"! Hello people! >.< My name is Juliana, i am from Brazil, love to do cosplay and began to like Senran Kagura after i played Burst. My favorite character for now is Haruka, and i have plans to cosplay her!! <3 Don't know about the rules of this forum... but we can use personal photos on avatar? Whoops sorry hello Juliana or citrusheart , which do you prefer? I would say that you citrusheart and you GuerrillaBoy have really nice tastes. Doom and Soul hackers (like many others from the SMT franchise) are some of my favorite games. I still play Doom and I have it installed on this very PC. Killing demons is nice. lol By the way, my actual name is Vitor and I live in Feira de Santana, Bahia. lol |

I swear to god, Citrusheart, if you somehow cosplay as either Katsuragi, Yumi, Yomi, or Blanc....Well...*points at nose* I want to cosplay another Senran Kagura girl as well, maybe Kat or Asuka... everything will depend on the time. About Blanc, i do not really combine with her... she is so small and cute for me. Vert combines more with me, she has/loves boobs and games. Nice to meet you. Love the Nami stuff! One piece rules! Nami is my inspiration, i love her personality and One Piece really rules. <3 You found about Nami from where? |
