So its just a psp game? don't really see the Vita diffrence. and why use chibi models for the on board models. I would think if you brought the game you would want fully 3D like the cards that can be used in a 3D viewer.
How is the card battle at least? what do you do?
How big is the company that makes the game?

In simple terms, It's like capture the flag with elements of Yu-Gi-Oh Duelist of the Roses and Magic the Gathering, your objective is to get to your opponent's castle before your opponent gets to yours. There are 3 types of cards, Attack Cards, Booster Cards (increases Mana, ATK, etc.), and Healer cards (heals nearby friendly monsters).
Compile Heart is a big company, it had a merger in the 2000's and since then it's become moe city of gaming, ever played the old Compile's shmups like Spriggan or M.U.S.H.A.
I can tell you most of the budget was spent on the perverted side of the game and hiring all them artists, some do Hentai.

I think thats another reason why these games get a bad rap, no one wants to come up and put real money behind a project to really wow people. Even SK is still made for cheap. ulesss someone is willing to throw down at least AA budget for one of these games they will always be viewed the same. View on violent games did not change until there was AAA money being thrown around and made. If I was making a pervert game now I get the DOA5 character model engine. spend most my money there and just modify it to fit my game.

The problem is would there be a significant market base in Japan for a perverted game on an AA or AAA budget. A good game with a million dollar budget is fine and dandy, but if not enough people buy it, then it's all for naught.

Same could have been said for FPS or the GTA style genres now. Someone has to take that chance. I don't follow the scene but has anyone raised the bar where the fans said this is the level we expect nothing less from these games now? With the way japan is now it does not seem hard to do really just someone would have to have the balls to try it. This is how the west got so strong is because everyone started taking the risk and pushing the envelope.
Maybe SKV is a groundbreaking title and we don't know it. lol

They should have stick with Agarest Senki / Neptune. This game is lame. Lets do the pervert breakdown. How many cards are in the game? Is there only 3 level or is there a 4th censored level? The rubbing thing looks really stupid is the end payoff worth the time instead of pressing a button? whats the super secret feature they are not talking about? How do you put the girls clothes back on?

No I don't have a Vita I was just asking and I looked today and heard something about it being sold out. If thats true thats a great sign for SKV I would think. Publisher is now advising people to DL the game now. Maybe my prediction for SKV selling well may be right.

The card game itself is not hard to figure out for starters and then you got the artist fanbase appeal, I swear some of them have done hentai, I don't recognize all of them but I have viewed some art of a good 5-10% of them. The game can get a bit challenging though since many of their support and booster monsters have skills early on and I suggest running a single color deck or choose one main type of attacking monster to use in your deck with a few Fairies/Nature/Undeads/Hybrids for buffs and healing

So you said you have to make it to your opponents base. how do you move the card do you have to waste a turn? Also whats up with the mini game I seen some cards change then change back and there was no less clothes version just a new version. whats that about? oh and how is online VS?

The cards move forward by themselves but not on the turn they are summoned unless you have monsters who have a skill that makes them advance one space forward (My deck is filled with them). The rubbing game makes monsters slightly more powerful and that's it, if you want skills you have to get monsters out of booster packs you buy from the shop with in game money. I haven't played online yet.
You can find monster cards on the world map as well as some rare booster packs.
