I'm interested in only these things
1. The controller, I want to know everything about it in full detail, so far I'm liking it.
2. If this thing requires to always have a connection (this is the only make or break thing left since Sony won't be blocking used games)
3. Games particularly the Japanese lineup (no games=no console)
Not interested in specs too much, My PC>Next gen consoles and I don't buy consoles specifically for specs if even specs are a factor at all.

I kind of agree with the ad, though. Mario is boring as hell imo <_< >_>

That does not look like an ad to me from Sony. No big deal.
Also, there is another Mario game? Galaxy 3?

I guess you never worked in a business or almost any enviroment where you have competitors. Thats the point of marketing, Make your product look good and make the other guys look bad. augen- The ad was a responds to the last nintendo direct where nintendo showed more mario games for 3DS. Its being brought up because this is the only time nintendo has used mario this much starting from the first Mario 3DS game until now. What I want to know is where the hell is Mario party 3DS? All these mario games and they can't give me this.

Mario Party 3DS will come either right before or right after SSBWiiU/3DS.
I'm just glad there's another Mario and Luigi RPG. I'm not a fan of Super Mario Galaxy.

Blasphemy, prepare to die I look forward to Mario & Luigi, too. More games to fill up my back catalog. I think the 3DS is getting too much support but I wish I could say the same for the Wii U until those games coming out for it get finished. Well have to wait like we did with the 3DS launch.

I don't believe that's an ad set up by Sony. Companies like to make inferring passes at other companies and not outright say it; Apple talking about "competing tablet" when it was obviously a Nexus 7. Still, Mario makes Nintendo money so I don't care he gets loads of games. I thoroughly enjoy playing Mario Kart and Mario Tennis because I really hate 'normal' driving and tennis games. (One day I'll play Burnout...)
On the topic of the controller. I hate being considered a fanboy by saying the word "copied" but seriously, (if it's real) the speaker in the controller, the touch panel, the motion controls. Which one of those -didn't- appear on a Nintendo device in the past. Sony decided to ditch their boomerang controller for the PS3 to go back to the dualshock to add in motion controls (minus rumble) right after Nintendo revealed the Wii. It's frankly annoying, it'd be nice if Sony decided to try something new and didn't just wait for others then release something a little more powerful only to remove most of its functions half way into its life (remember the Another OS feature on the PS3? lol).
I have a PS3, 360, Wii, DS, 3DS, PSP and Vita. Not bragging but just pointing out that I'm not a fanboy so don't misconstrue what I said above. I like all the consoles.

You realize Nintendo fans also can hate Mario too, right? Sony and anyone else is free to think that way about a certain series, because its ONE IP. Mario is not the only thing Nintendo has. Kirby is better anyways No one is copying anyone. Nintendo fans love to think that when Nintendo does something and someone else does something similar, it's copying. If anything, they are just trendsetters. EDIT: If it isn't obvious, I'm a huge Sony fan, but I'm not trying to start anything. I apologize if my post is at all offensive.

Yep, and I'm totally not sitting outside your window right now Well you got me there, they do need to focus more on Kirby. I love that game.
But Sony was the first one to call the Wii's motion controls a useless gimmick, but they still did a turnaround and came out with six-axis after that horrid boomerang controller, and furthermore with the move. Not to mention they turned around and added control sticks to the original PS controller after you-know-who had one on theirs. So they are in someway guilty.
EDIT: Perhaps I should have delivered that line better, It kind of creeps me out. Oh well, I hope people got the joke.

Its a good thing I have Chain Chomps guarding my front lawn But you can't say these are sony only things. I mean, control sticks? EVERY game company ever after like '97 had that. Are you really saying Sega, Microsoft, Sony etc copied control sticks? See what I mean? Nintendo isn't all powerful inventor of things but trend setter. I wont cover for their immature stabs at Nintendo, but Sony isn't as evil as you make them out to be. Just.....misunderstood.
