-- On a boat to Nampo Port -- After a job contract working as staff on an amusement park in Tokyo, your leader Homura used her salary to buy some raffle tickets for a chance to win something big. Sadly, her luck fell short and her hard-earned money went down the drain. What she did acquire, however, was another job contract courtesy of the man who sold her those tickets. He wanted to expand his business to the newly-opened Asobi Island. An artificial island off the western coast of Japan built as some sort of entertainment hub much like Las Vegas of the United States. The job was simple, sell some raffle tickets on a stall and the Homura Crimson Squad gets some of the cut. The employer paid for the team's entrance into the island and the uniforms so you and the others went. The ship you and the others were on was filled with people. Clearly, this new man-made island attracted tourists from all over Japan and even the world. It will likely make the island crowded but it would also likely make your jobs easier. Leaning upon the rails on the boat's deck, a familiar voice called out to you. "Deep in thought, Hikage?" It was Haruka, wearing her standard casual clothing. "You know, I could never pinpoint what you're thinking most of the time." She remarked as she joined you on the rails. "Do you think about your past? You had a mentor once, right?"

Hikage let the wind blow through her hair. At least that was something she could physically feel, and she knew it was a good feeling. It just didn't provoke emotion.
Some job... she thought as her eyes raked over those attending.
And then she heard... yep. It was Haruka.
At Haruka's words, Hikage made a non-committal grunt. "Sometimes even I don't know what I'm thinking," she replied.
It was true, and yet she felt it might steer the conversation elsewhere; Hikage felt no desire to speak about her past... not yet, anyway. Haruka and the others were close to her, indeed the only ones she could call family in these times, but nobody was as close to Hikage as Hinata.

"Hmm, is that so?" Haruka replied, a bit disappointed in your answer.
A few moments of silence pass as Haruka joined you in admiring the blue waters and the strong, salty winds. Soon, Asobi Island was in sight and an idea popped into the chemist woman's head. "I think I know how to get into your thoughts, Hikage." Haruka began. "Remember how fighting lets you know your opponent's thoughts and feelings? I know that's how Homura became so close to Asuka." She smirked. "So what do you say? Up for a sparring match? We're still quite away from our destination, and it'll help keep our skills sharp too."
"We can erect a shinobi barrier right here so we can go all out."

[Sorry it took me so long to reply. I'll try to be a little more prompt when it comes to RPing.]
----
Hikage mulled over Haruka's words. Fighting...
She supposed it was true. After all, that was how she and Katsuragi had started to bond.
"Sure," Hikage yawned. "I was getting bored just standing around."
