There are also these that are in booster 4 (new Hebijou) if you are looking to complete all character cards. If their specific battle cards as well, they all got 1 each new battle cards in booster 3 and 1 Guren Homura battle card AND in the same booster 4, Guren Homura have another battle card, her hiden ninpou.
Regarding the cards you are searching for... VA sign cards are definitely the rarest to find and will cost you arms and legs, ie at the MINIMUM of USD$100. Artist sign cards should roughly be around USD$40-50. Less expensive but still... Those bottom 5 cards are PR cards you can only get from an unopened box of BT Vol1 (Hanzo school) random as well. Not sure of their price. But yes, disregarding the prices, the issue for us is more toward nobody outside Japan got them and/or willing to sell them outside Japan which is a pain in the Hometown.

Ooooo people talking about the cards! Happy days !,I thought this place had descended into RP and Smash-bros hell.
Nice to see another collector, bout time me and Mr Nasae had a friend, sadly I don't think they will be making anymore sets since the 4 schools are done, figures crossed for a set 5 after estival VS.
If that's all you need then you are doing well my friend! Nasae tell you he's got a signed Ryouna (lucky f***)? I myself have a signed Mirai and Miyabi. Come to Japan and I'll get you all the cards you need lol hit me or Nasae up if you got any q's
Ahh, the thing was that in Vol1, you can notice that all chara cards from 1-4 are Common (C) and Uncommon (UC), which distributes fairly evenly in the box. From Vol 2 onward, they introduced Rare Common (RC) which makes the chara cards harder to acquire since they take Rare (R) slot but isn't shiny lol.
So I got a chance to play a good few games this weekend against my friend with a Neptunia starter deck. I basically made a Hikage deck, I chucked all the Hikage Attack cards together + 1 of each support. So 9Y, 9R, 9B, 3G, 2P + 9 Support, so I had the full 40 cards.
We probally made a few mistakes whilst playing but it was fun. Of the 3 games we played though, I lost all 3 games I would like help building a Hikage deck if anyone has some ideas.
I understand that it is preferable to have a high defence character like Haruka but I would like to use Hikage. I am guessing Hikage needs some more defencive cards? Maybe support cards which can hold off a few attacks whilst you build hers?
Also can you transfer cards from 1 deck to another? Some of the Hanzo support cards seem like they would be helpfull.
I would say you gave your friend a handicap since you didn't have Senran Vol4 cards that are better suited to fight the newer generation (Blazblue, Walkure, Neptunia) decks. There are a few useful attacks and costume support cards in the set.
As for your current deck, there are too many support cards as well as maybe 1 too many Aerial Green card. Unless you maxed out the Aerial Evade battle card (+2000 Def) then your Aerial is too difficult to pull off. You might also consider reducing each 5 cost Red and Blue by 1 so it gives you more space for more defensive Yellow cards as well.
As for what chara you should be playing, play whoever you LIKE. Most meta decks are defensive stall decks since it is the easiest to play (but boring mind you).
Unless the card stated that it can only be used for certain character (ie like Hikage's Hiden Ninpou; look at the top-left corner of the ability box and you will see that it says "Hikage Only" which mean Hikage can only use this card.), otherwise you can use ANY cards in your deck of the same series. Which mean yes by all means maxed out Scroll of Light in Asuka's boobs (one of the BEST support card in the game).
Milk is a very good stall card and good in general card (there's no more card like this for other series. Neptunia got Compa's attack that is like this, BUT MUST HIT to heal and deal no damage.).
Yes it works like what you describe. And yes, it will reactivate the card's effect that says "Whenever this card is the top card of your character's deck..." just like the Lv2 of most Senran characters.
Is there anyone that can speak/type Japanese here? I need to send a message to the guy(s) who runs www.tcgjapan.com/
I placed an order on the site, but Paypal blocked it. I sorted the issue out on the Paypal's end but my order is stuck in limbo on the tcg site. It just says "Manual verification required".
I did send an e-mail to them but all they said was Paypal blocked it.
I would just re-order it apart from my blocked order "ate" the cards I was ordering. So unless my order is re-processed or cancelled, the site will view the cards I ordered as being out of stock.
I was hoping the guy that runs the site would realize this but it has been 7 days now and the order is still sat with "Manual verification required" and he knows that as he replied to the initial e-mail.
Any idea of what I can do to clear this up? I really am hoping to get 100% of the cards for Vol. 1 & 2. I am so close and would feel all my effort was in vain if I don't finish getting them. ><
Well I don't know if anyone is paying attention here any more but I found out a lot recently and really improved my collection. I will got over the basic of each set, although with Vol.4 - New Hebijo some stuff still is not clear. I will also go into event and promo cards.
Vol.1 to Vol.3
These 3 sets follow a very similar format. Each set is split into 3 parts. Character Cards, Battle Cards and Support Cards.
Character Cards: These go from Levels 1 to 5. However there are 2 level 5 cards for each character a Rare and a Super Rare. The SR character cards have 3 versions, a plain version, a actress signed version and an artist signed version. Each set has a total of 11 signed cards, there is 1 extra artist signed card that can be found in the starter decks.
Vol.2 is odd because the Rare Level 5s have two versions. A black bunny girl and a pink bunny girl version.
Vol.3 and Vol.4 give alternate character cards across various levels for Vol.1 and Vol.2.
Battle Cards: These are used to attack and come as Yellow, Red, Blue, Aerial(Green) and Ultimate(Purple).
Vol.3 introduces R Yellow cards specific to each character for Hanzo and Crimson Squad. Vol.4 furthers this by giving these attacks to Gessen and New Hebijo characters
Support Cards: Fairly standard across Vol.1-3 with 9 cards, Vol.4 changes things up by introducing armour cards.
Starter Decks: 1-3 All have starter decks, most of the cards can be found in regular booster but some cards are unique to each starter deck. These cards have a "ST" after the card number. There is a chance to get an Artist Signed Level 4 Character Card instead of the standard SR Level 4.
Vol.4 changes things up a little, for starters there is no Starter Deck.
Then with character cards is where thing get a little confusing. This is because 2 characters (Imu and Ryobi) get 2 versions of their SR Level 5 card. Imu with and without glasses, Ryoubi smiling busty version and grumpy flat version. The problem here is that these are normally the signed cards. I do not know if there is a signed version of each card or of the signs are spread across the 2.
Booster Box Promos
Each full booster box comes with 1 promo card. The promo cards are alternate art Level 2 Character cards. Vol.1 comes with alternate art for Vol.2, 5 cards in total 1 for each character., Likewise Vol.2 comes with alternate art for Vol.1.
Vol.3 comes with another set of alternate level 2 art for Vol.1
Vol.4 unlike the rest of the booster instead comes a deck divider. I have only seen 4 of these, I assume there are between 20-22 dividers, 1 for each character, depending on if Dai and Rin get a divider.
Alsong with all of the above there were a lot of promos released. As far as I can tell all together (including the Booster Box PR cards) there are 86 Promo Cards.
15 from Booster Boxes (Only 5 of these appear in the UVS catalogue). 3 from magazines (1 Katsuragi, 2 Support cards Hot Spring and Beach). 1 from some kind of PR learn to play event (Alternate art for Vol.1 S001). 40 from a NewWave/UVS Promo. Spread across events and tournaments. 10 Hanzo(Only 5 of these appear in the UVS catalogue), 10 Crimson(Only 5 of these appear in the UVS catalogue), 5 Gessen(Earned from above event with tokens), 5 New Hanzo, 10 NewWave girls (Split into 2 sets of 5, 1 card from set 2 may not have issued by mistake). All NewWave cards have a QR code on them, I assume to unlock cards in the NewWave mobile game.. 4 from 2 Play Mat sets, Ikaruga and Yomi. 21 from tournaments (5 Hanzo, 10 Hanzo + Cimson, 5 Crimson, 1 Gessen). 1 Hibari not sure how you get this one, again maybe for turning up to an event. 1 Hanzo Group card, classed as Level 0 with 2000 Attack and 2000 Defence. I only saw this pop up on an auction site, its not in the UVS catalogue. Seems like it was some kind of promo card no intended for use.
As it stands now I have 100% of Vol.1 and Vol.2, I am missing 1 Artist Signed card (Yumi) from Vol.3 and I only have Ryona's Artist Sign for Vol.4
I now have 70/86 of the Promo cards. I got very lucky with this, hopefully I can track down some more of these but I think some may be impossible to get
