Well I don't know if anyone is paying attention here any more but I found out a lot recently and really improved my collection. I will got over the basic of each set, although with Vol.4 - New Hebijo some stuff still is not clear. I will also go into event and promo cards.
Vol.1 to Vol.3These 3 sets follow a very similar format. Each set is split into 3 parts. Character Cards, Battle Cards and Support Cards.
Character Cards: These go from Levels 1 to 5. However there are 2 level 5 cards for each character a Rare and a Super Rare. The SR character cards have 3 versions, a plain version, a actress signed version and an artist signed version. Each set has a total of 11 signed cards, there is 1 extra artist signed card that can be found in the starter decks.
Vol.2 is odd because the Rare Level 5s have two versions. A black bunny girl and a pink bunny girl version.
Vol.3 and Vol.4 give alternate character cards across various levels for Vol.1 and Vol.2.
Battle Cards: These are used to attack and come as Yellow, Red, Blue, Aerial(Green) and Ultimate(Purple).
Vol.3 introduces R Yellow cards specific to each character for Hanzo and Crimson Squad. Vol.4 furthers this by giving these attacks to Gessen and New Hebijo characters
Support Cards: Fairly standard across Vol.1-3 with 9 cards, Vol.4 changes things up by introducing armour cards.
Starter Decks: 1-3 All have starter decks, most of the cards can be found in regular booster but some cards are unique to each starter deck. These cards have a "ST" after the card number. There is a chance to get an Artist Signed Level 4 Character Card instead of the standard SR Level 4.
Vol.4Vol.4 changes things up a little, for starters there is no Starter Deck.
Then with character cards is where thing get a little confusing. This is because 2 characters (Imu and Ryobi) get 2 versions of their SR Level 5 card. Imu with and without glasses, Ryoubi smiling busty version and grumpy flat version. The problem here is that these are normally the signed cards. I do not know if there is a signed version of each card or of the signs are spread across the 2.
Booster Box PromosEach full booster box comes with 1 promo card. The promo cards are alternate art Level 2 Character cards. Vol.1 comes with alternate art for Vol.2, 5 cards in total 1 for each character., Likewise Vol.2 comes with alternate art for Vol.1.
Vol.3 comes with another set of alternate level 2 art for Vol.1
Vol.4 unlike the rest of the booster instead comes a deck divider. I have only seen 4 of these, I assume there are between 20-22 dividers, 1 for each character, depending on if Dai and Rin get a divider.
Other PromosAlsong with all of the above there were a lot of promos released. As far as I can tell all together (including the Booster Box PR cards) there are 86 Promo Cards.
15 from Booster Boxes (Only 5 of these appear in the UVS catalogue).
3 from magazines (1 Katsuragi, 2 Support cards Hot Spring and Beach).
1 from some kind of PR learn to play event (Alternate art for Vol.1 S001).
40 from a NewWave/UVS Promo. Spread across events and tournaments. 10 Hanzo(Only 5 of these appear in the UVS catalogue), 10 Crimson(Only 5 of these appear in the UVS catalogue), 5 Gessen(Earned from above event with tokens), 5 New Hanzo, 10 NewWave girls (Split into 2 sets of 5, 1 card from set 2 may not have issued by mistake). All NewWave cards have a QR code on them, I assume to unlock cards in the NewWave mobile game..
4 from 2 Play Mat sets, Ikaruga and Yomi.
21 from tournaments (5 Hanzo, 10 Hanzo + Cimson, 5 Crimson, 1 Gessen).
1 Hibari not sure how you get this one, again maybe for turning up to an event.
1 Hanzo Group card, classed as Level 0 with 2000 Attack and 2000 Defence. I only saw this pop up on an auction site, its not in the UVS catalogue. Seems like it was some kind of promo card no intended for use.
As it stands now I have 100% of Vol.1 and Vol.2, I am missing 1 Artist Signed card (Yumi) from Vol.3 and I only have Ryona's Artist Sign for Vol.4
I now have 70/86 of the Promo cards. I got very lucky with this, hopefully I can track down some more of these but I think some may be impossible to get
