It seems MAQL really is having a good time with Sony recently, Senran SV, Valhalla Knights, OboroMuramasa etc. I heard Soul Sacrifice is also developed by MAQL.
As a third party I guess they just choose whichever platform that seems to have better market prospect?
As a gamer I don't care which platform they choose, as long as the game is attractive I'll buy it LOL

Just updated the game to 1.01. The wrong voice of Yomi's Hiden1 is corrected. Haruka's air square now has homing property once lock-on. DCD is nerfed, I don't feel it is slowed down, but indeed it doesn't have invincibility frame now, so it seems it requires more technique to use them wisely. Inochigakei is also nerfed to a reasonable level, without technique it is almost useless, can be killed by a few hits of hiden ninpo1. It seems after the update Miyabi and Homura are the currently stronger characters. The camera reset when pressing R, left and right on the D-pad to control camera, press triangle to skip novel part in story mode are all very convenient updates. The danii name of the online modes is also changed to make them more self-explaining, I like it ,now I'm level 8 LOL, level 0 seems to have the Kagura title. There are only 17000 players registered online, it seems most of the buyers only play story modes I guess... Looking forward to using Daidouji and Suzune now

After the update there is a new technique that is similar to DCD, but it can be applied to everyone.
Don't know whether it can be used before the update or not.
It seems also a liitle bit of broken...presss X+O repeatedly and the character will do a super low air dash, and when touching the ground the unmovable frames can also be canceled by X+O... with the infinite loop everyone can move lightning fast and has constant invincibility frames as long as you input X+O fast enough
Guess this should also be patched, but as everyone can use it, it might be fair in a sense lol.
In 1.00 many japanese players say DCD and Inochigakei is banned when they are hosting now only JCD is banned.

That was in the last game Burst. it was the nurfed form of the first games Dash cancel. Only thing is in Bust it was a little tricky but it was pretty much the same because once your body or attack touched anything it reset your dash and ability to cancel into anything. So they game went from Portrait to Burst in the gameplay since.
Thanks for the updates. Try the tech with all characters and see who gets advantage or has a longer dash and things like that. also who has the best low to the ground mid air attack that can be spammed with this.

Oh, didn't know that. I played burst for 40 hours but there are still many secrets that I don't know.
I feel in burst Yin, Yang, Sen mode the movement speed and dash invincibility are different, I remember that the Yin mode moves much more faster and has longer dash invincibility. But in SV no matter what mode you are the speed and dash invincibility seem the same.
Guess this technique can also be used in offline modes, in online modes I think it is a little bit overpowered, I tried rush straight through Mirai's bullets and nothing can hit me... moreover the dash can hit the target and can be used to gather ninpo. But indeed press X+O repeatedly very fast is not that easy and sometimes is likely to jump too high or dash on the ground.

Its like you said its a technique. I mentioned it in my burst guide but its hard to describe with out seeing it, I use my index fingers not my thumbs to press the 2 or 3 buttons this give me enough speed to dash cancel or attack dash cancel at crazy speeds. The speed in burst as been lowered and its more difficullt with some characters but in the original game everyone was pretty much the same and since that game was based around frames like a fighting game you could cancel out of any frame and most of the time it produced new attacks.
Ya in burst the dash speeds where different for all 3 and so you had to adjust frame data for each one.

It seems everything is untouched except for the nerf of DCD, improvement of Haruka, and JCD. I also heard there are some characters who can't guard cancel their dash and jump triangle, but afaik most characters can do it, and it doesn't matter as you still can use square to cancel dash.
BTW with the nerf of inochigakei now is is almost useless which is somewhat shameful, I think it is only useful if your opponent is far weaker than you.

Also is there now rating for Hikage frenzy also dooes Haruka lose her coat and abilities like the 3DS game?

In SV Hikage won't enter frenzy automatically in low health, it can only be activated by hiden ninpo 2, and haruka's moves isn't affected by the coat, maybe because now she use the robot to attack lol I think most of the strong tricks are easy, the input is extremely easy all you need to do is aim the right direction at the right distance. In 1vs1vs1vs1 mode it is just too chaotic that there is almost no strategy or technique at all, all you need to do is try everyway to gain scrolls and use wide hiden ninpo to gain points. 2vs2 is the most interesting mode in Senran SV, strategy and technique, spacing and mastery of each move become very important especially when you are against strong characters. But sadly some matchups are just too one-sided that in 2vs2 I think some weaker characters can only win stronger ones with the help from the teammate. Unlike most fighting games, in Senran SV most moves can be dash canceled which means most moves won't be punished, so if one spam it over and over again some characters really can't do anything about it. In 2vs2, with the help of teammates, punishment is possible and the guaranteed punishment after just guard becomes important, which is very competitive and interesting.

Ya I know it has to be hell punishing in this game since you can cancel everything. but like you said with teams its diffrent. How is the hit stun? in Burst each form had diffrent hit stun is it still like this?

I think the three modes have the same hit stun. The three modes share the same hit stun, dash distance, dash invincibility, running speed. Only the moves are different, and Sen mode has Improved Guard and Easier Just Guard that can block everything and just guard becomes easier.
