I didn't get that memo, oh well. It's to be expected due to the budget and 5pb. involvement.

That's a possibility, same with idol pp and FFF, as well as disgaea 4 vita, Mugen souls z, and Battle of Princess of Arcadia.

(Double Post) Okay, since some of you might interested in the series, I'll tell you what I recommend doing. If you have a PS3, I recommend getting the original, MK2, and Victory. The original isn't connected to the other 2 and the gameplay sucks, but the humor is what makes it enjoyable. MK2 is a reboot to the series with a more serious atmosphere and the gameplay is better. Victory is a sequel to MK2 with an update to MK2's battle system. It has a mixture of both humor and seriousness in my opinion. There is an anime adaption of the series but it has it's own story and it's still airing. (Last episode is next Friday and it's a total of 12 episodes long.) Now of course if you don't have a PS3, you can still enjoy the series by watching the anime. Now if you have a PS Vita, you'll have access to about three games, one is out already and two is still under production. The one that's out is an Idol game that isn't connected to the PS3 games at all, but from what I've seen it's enjoyable. It's sorta similar to the Idol series, Idolm@aster, but not by a lot. As for the two games that's still being made. The first one is a remake of the first HDN game. The purpose for this remake is to connect it to MK2 and stuff. The last one is a game that's center around a specific character from the series. We still don't now what it's going to be like but it will probably still be enjoyable. Take note that these three games haven't been localized yet but the three PS3 games has. The series has some fan service in it, but don't let it get to you. Concentrate on mainly the characters, which are enjoyable as they do develop a bit, and the story, and then you'll have a blast with the series. And with that, that's my recommendation to how to get into the series. I hope this helped a lot of you if you're interested and want to give HDN a shot. =) Also, if you have more questions, feel free to refer to the HDN wiki. HDN Wiki

Well I have 1 & 2 and Marvy for V. Still need V. I will try & watch the anime after the games I'm EU so I can't legally watch it . I don't fancy idolmaster but I might get the others for VITA. Idolmaster is about pressing buttons in sequence/rhythm to sing and dance right?

I don't really know fully but from what I've seen, there's that, and also time management, where you develop your girls and make them better.

Hmm I'll plans I don't like rhythm games.
Is it sad that one of my favourite things so far is spamming the jump button outside battles just to her the girls shout "jump"

HDN Idol PP isn't a rhythm game though. Like I said, it's similar to IdolM@aster but not a lot. The only difference is in HDN Idol PP, you're controlling the stage and making your character look awesome. There's no rhythm mechanics at all.

Don't worry too much, once the game gets localized hopefully, it will be easier to understand what you have to do.

(Double post) Just to let you guys know, the English version of the games don't have a full dub while the Japanese version does. The reason is because NIS America was under a budget, causing some parts to not be voiced. There are also some DLC that wasn't able to come over due to licensing issues.
