From what I've heard, besides Nepgear, the candidates are optional, and I think that's a CPU breaker like enemy.

Welp i hope we get to use them more early unlike Victory. lol And my guess is that it could just be a coliseum battle that's what i'm guessing.

Re;Birth 1 will only have 3 party members at one time, just like the original.
