Re;birth will make it overseas because it isn't a idol M@ster like game, those games generally dont have a sustainable market here and it's why NISA said it would be troublesome to localize that particular title. NISA loves Neptunia but it would have been risky to bring over such a game from their standpoint.
Re;birth on the other hand is a remake of the first game and there is a high probability that it will sell as good as Disgaea 3 that was ported to the Vita, which is abit more sustainable for NISA.
If you want PP, just import it...

Hyperdimension Idol PP may be an idol game but it's still HDN, there's still a chance of localizing it, as long as NISA doesn't hope it sells too well compare to Re;Birth 1.

I think that boat already sailed when NISA didn't respond to fan's asking for a localization months ago. You can also blame Vita sales too...

Sometimes, companies can surprise the fans. Just look at Xseed. They surprised us when they said they're officially localizing Senran Kagura Burst, and then they surprised us again when they announced that they are going to localized SC.

Yeah I get that, I just don't like to get my hopes up because other companies are putting their necks out there for fans, I would like to believe that Square cared enough to Localize Type-0 and Drakenguard 3 but im not going to lose sleep over it either, I'll take what I can get, Bravely Default was a random but honestly I been wanted to play that game.
So I'm in the situation of either sit on my hands and hope and pray for localizations of games, or go out and double dip.
God Eater 2 is a game I don't want to sit on my hands and wait for, neither is PSO Nova....I can't really trust Bamco and Sega to bring everything I like(Tales of Innocence/Hearts, Project Diva for Vita, PSO2) so you see why im cynical on this sort of thing.

Yeah, I understand. Sega and Bamco do have a history of not localizing games outside of Japan, but when it comes to the Tales series now, Bamco is stepping up and doing what they can to bring it over now that they finally realized that there is a fanbase in NA and EU. If the PS Vita picks up in sales, it will definitely be enough to bring those two Tales games over.

The Tales director told us why we didn't get Innocence and Hearts R, the Vita hasn't sold well enough to warrant the localization. This is the same issue even for publishers like NISA and XSEED, they are going to appeal to niche audiences sure but they still need to find a suitable fanbase too, and if the fans who play these games don't have vita's, they can't just hope people will buy a Vita for Nep PP or Re;Birth...they would have to be there already.
This is the problem with Shinovi Versus as well, it's less on having to do with Burst sales as much as it has to do with Vita's install base here in the states. If XSEED sees Sony pushing more Vita's then maybe a SV localization isn't too far off the mark.
But yeah at the end of the day, if I see a game I want that is Japanese...I usually have to import it if I want to play it...which sucks because it honestly shouldn't be that way...but that's how things are at times.

More or less, Nep Re;birth will be out in Japan soon enough so give it 6 months or so, we should have it no later than May...maybe...if we're lucky!

Honestly she is kinda what got me into the series really hardcore like, idk there is something about her character design I really like, maybe it's because in ther Shinobi Turnover/transformation she looks Ninja and not just something random like everyone else is, not to say those are not cool on their own but Suzune/Rin really attracted me because she was really Ninja...and I really like Ninja/Shinobi characters. Besides Rin though...
Hikage Is my favorite Snake Shinobi, something about her really clicks with me, and Ikaruga is my favorite Hanzo Shinobi, but I think that maybe due to her looking similar to Nagisa from Phantasy Star fame...and I really loved that character.
After playing Rin in SV, I can honestly say she is indeed very badass....Her and Daidouji are really OP when it comes to style~
And I single handedly turned a Neptunia topic into something else D:
