Did people really thing a portable Victory wasn't coming? Given some of the reactions I've seen, apparently some of them indeed did not. I'm a bit iffy on the mechanical changes, but overall I'm looking forward to it and the next game they hinted at during the stream. I hope they keep the onslaught of spinoffs coming.

I didn't think Victory needed a vita port as it was the foundation for the first two rebirths.
There is a extra scenario and it might have different makers so who knows what else is in store for the Victory port.
I've just been hard at work platinum'ing rebirth 1, but slowly since I'm kinda getting burnt out on the rebirths and Destiny is like all I play now.
I want to see more on Victory-II more than anything else.

I didn't think Victory needed a vita port as it was the foundation for the first two rebirths. "Need" isn't an issue here, and they never said Victory had anything to do with the first two Re;Births. It was about giving the portable titles a "rebirth" and bringing them onto a new console, which this, even if they (unfortunately) aren't going all out with remaking the story, is doing. There doesn't need to be a "need" for it or a reason. Just a want and perhaps the knowledge that it will sell, though even that isn't entirely necessary (though usually the deciding factor in these matters). Now, that aside, I am a bit disappointed with RB3 not getting the RB1 treatment, but that was probably to be expected. They hooked us after RB1 got it, and once RB2 sold with it not getting it, they probably figured they could get away with this too. It's a tremendous waste of potential, and one I hope they revisit someday. Even so, I'll still get the game - if nothing else, I'd like to show CH that there's still interest in Plutia and Peashy, who have been strangely ignored since their introduction to the series, even in the spinoffs, despite being full CPUs. People say the Candidates get a hard time, but they get a ton in comparison to those two. Plus, portable Neptunia is always good. Hopefully with these remakes out of the way, they'll make some original RPGs rather than "remakes." The Vita assets are all there now, so they could try that rather than "the RB treatment" on older titles, if nothing else. Or maybe drop MS and FFF ports, who knows?

This is like the Disgaea series with all its Vita ports. One can then expect Victory II to get a Vita port, which would be good for me!

While possible, since the port of Disgaea 4 (a PS3 game) has some noticeable issues, we may have reached the point where we can't as easily have console to Vita ports of JRPGs. That said, it may still be possible for CH, and it may be that D4 just wasn't optimized to the best it could be. Time will tell I suppose.

Bought Choujigen Action Neptune U recently because it is a Tamsoft game.
To my surprise it is much better than I expected because I heard of many negative comments on the internet.
I feel the system is like a combination of Sengoku Basara and Senran SV and the enemy numbers are much better than SV, some stages even have over 500 of enemies while in SV the most populated stage is 147. The SP skills, transformation and air combos are quite good, and the ultimate move after transformation is awesome. Not to mention that seiyuu is the best part of the game, really love Hara Yumi's voice acting of Famitsu.
But it is true the game has some drawbacks that the difficulty is too low and the commandlist is even simpler than Shinovi Versus -_-||||
Fortunately the develper had some ability restriction item in the game so if you equip it the game can still get challenging.

I think this is the first comment I've heard from an actual Senran Kagura fan about the game, so that's good to hear. Hopefully it gets localized sooner rather than later.

lol just completed neptune U, there is even a stage that the target is defeating 1500 enemies which is great
after completing the story mode, there is a colliseum mode unlocked, and winning once in the colliseum mode unlocks the neptral tower
In the 1.01 patch the developer added some hard quests that recommend using lv99 characters which is much more interesting than normal stages.
Generally speaking I think it is a quite interesting Basara-like game featured by decent moveset, seiyuu and super arts, if possible hope there would be DLC for Plutia, Pish, Compa, IF

Peashy and Plutia aren't playable? You'd think with CPU bods like theirs the developers would be ecstatic to put them in! I would buy all of that dlc if it existed!
