REVISED DRAFT
SUGGESTIONS INCORPORATED: SOLE FOCUS ON FINANCIALS AND LOGISTICS, NOT CONTENT.
Dear Mr. Berry,
Upon reading your response that XSeed was "still looking into localizing Senran Kagura games" I was hoping to start a dialogue on the topic. The goal is to bring the games over, but not ignorant as to the fact Marvelous and Xseed are businesses and it comes down to financial viability of any project.
The challenge in evaluating the risk and reward dynamic is what metrics to use. Before committing it is fair for you to see indicators if Senran Kagura Burst or Shinovi Versus could be viable. The first example I would use is in the "Suggestions" section of your XSeed forums that "Senran Kagura Burst" is still by far the popular topic, so much so that it developed into a community off site in "Senran International Academy". This demonstrates there is passion and desire to see a game come over despite next to no promotion.
Not to be unreasonable I can understand how a passionate group for a niche title may need more quantifiable data to justify such a venture. I present to you a possibility in Sega. Just recently ran a page on their Facebook asking if anyone was interested in localization of "Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F". The response was strong with thousands of likes and shares. Sega later stated this helped them make the decision to localize the game in spite of concerns. If you were to have any other methods or suggestions I'd be open to hearing them as well.
I do not think it asking too much for their simply to be a conversation on the subject. I sincerely hope take the request to heart and get back to me. Thank you for your time.

Thank you for your time. --------- Add anything, remove anything, adjust anything? Maybe change "I do not think it asking too much for their simply to be" to "i would hope it is not too much to ask for" depends on what impression and force you are after.

Hmm... that is actually quite something there. Maybe they should launch a similar tactic to see how many people want to see Burst in the west. It couldn't hurt, the only thing they would use is time and not money. XSeed Games does want to localize this game, they probably have on their top "probably/considering localizing" list of games. They are probably on the verge of putting it in their "Games we are localizing" list. And I know what's holding them back, the fans. They can already see the strong demand for it, they just don't see the number of fans out there. Now I don't want to bash/insult them in anyway, but the thing with XSeed Games.. or rather localization companies is that they do not see it and probably will never see how many fans there are for a particular franchise. We the fans know there are many fans out there, but they don't see that. It's like a coin, each side of the coin will only see from their perspective side. It is much different from looking out from the inside, and which they think there isn't enough fans. And us since we look from the outside to the inside see a much larger portion of fans. It's something that basically will always be an issue, thus making it impossible for them to see if they will turn a profit. Sure it's the same 8-14 people that post here on the forums or on their forums.. but what about the people on facebook and twitter that are always posting/tweeting about SK. I bet that is something they've not really looked into much. But the fans are there. Honestly.. we have so much technology and social sites we and them(XSeed) can really put to use and count the numbers. Though I understand that setting up a specific survey or whatever else takes of time and which they may not have much of but still. We shall not be at a complete stop in time but try progress further and show each other that this can be realized. There is nothing better than the power of words to come to an understanding and see things through. Jeez.. I rambled on a bit again (~_~

I tried to see form their perspective that same dozen people shouting that they could make us put our money where our mouth is. If they do a Facebook thing and get 50 likes they can say "See, little to no interest". If they get 5000 they will take notice that there is something to this movement. Also, this type of campaign makes fans feel involved and builds a relationship with the developer and publisher.

Since many people already have facebook accounts this would go a lot smother vs people registering on the forums to voice their support.

{NSFW'ish?} It stop being scary a log time ago. On a serious note...Same old same old news. I would just slap a low rated M title on it(yes I know that is not all they have to do, but just for the sake of saving space) and release it. I could never imagine a Senran Kagura game being "T" or perhaps burst could even so that title would still get a low rated M.

They could go for T if they seriously dumb down the dialogs and go for a dematerialized release, I think. A news on vg site about a tumblr post from... 2 months age. Pretty dumb

I have to admit, bit depressing. I mean, all we have right now on localization front is bad news regurgitated from two months ago. At very least need a third SK game at TGS to string me along.
