I see. Question: Did you do the entire process of signing up for a GREE account through your phone, including the email confirmation part? I id like you said before. Register Gree on PC & confirm. Turn VPN on mobile. Log in on mobile. Set up game. Turn VPN off. Game works but would need VPN on again to get another.

Okay, I think I see what happened with the account. I've had a theory about this for the longest. When I registered Lilith's account, my three other accounts, as well as accounts for some others, I used my phone entirely. With VPN activated, I did the registration and e-mail confirmation through the phone. My idea is because I'm in VPN the whole time and the connection is treated as Japanese, the entire process produces an account that is unbound by VPN completely. I may need to get someone else to try the method in order to see if it produces the same result. In any case, you are able to access New Wave and that's what matters in the end

Hello:) I wanted to check the NW game so I followed the guide on my Nexus 7 tablet; I set up the VPN and have begun creating my GREE account but it is asking me for a phone number Apparently, I can enter my mobile phone and receive a PIN number to enter on the tablet, so I tried it but my phone number is rejected Also, the interface mentions a list of countries to choose from but I see nothing... Did I do a bad manipulation ? Has anybody here encountered the same problem ? What can I do to finalize my registration ? Edit : okay, the game seems to work even without an mobile phone registration... ?! Good Thanks a lot everyone for this thread ! Now, to play on PC... Btw, how the hell does it play ? Edit 2 : it's trying to make me buy special cards with ikaruga, I guess. The thing is EVIL. Edit 3 : *___* Okay, is there a storyline ? How do you change your player character ?

Harro~
New Wave does have.... somewhat of a story.
If you mean that cute little chibi that pops up during quests, that's based on who your leader card is. By default, your leader card should be whatever the Rare you got as your very first card is.
As for what you posted, that's the Panel Sheet, a newly added section to give new players an even better start while also getting them used to the various workings of New Wave. There are two panel sheets, both of them containing 9 missions that offer rewards when completed. Upon completing both sheets, you are given two Rare Ikaruga cards. I actually have a guide on how to complete those sheets, which will be posted in 3....2...1....
First Panel Sheet
-Clear Chapter 1 (beat all stages, don't need 100% of the cards in the chapter) REWARD: 1 Gold Ticket
-Reach Level 5 REWARD: 1000 Scout Points (use these to clear the next mission if you don't have 200 Scout Points)
-Spend Scout Points one time (one of the missions gives Scout Points, making this ultra easy to do) (It doesn't matter if you have spent points before, you MUST spend 200 Scout Points again for it to actually count) REWARD: 10000 Currency
-Do Battle (PVP) once (think you have to win) REWARD: 10000 Currency
-Set a card for Light/Shadow training (may or may not have to set two, set two anyway) REWARD: BP Drink (restores 1 BP) x2
-Raise a card's Light/Shadow rank one time (use an N card to make this super easy) REWARD: Red Enhance Scroll (gives 400 EXP to a card) x3
-Edit your deck once (just remove a card and put it back) REWARD: Sushi Set (restores 50 Stamina) x2
-Send a friend request (must be a player in-game, requesting GREE friends does NOT count. They do not have to accept the friend request, you just have to send one) REWARD: BP Drink (restores 1 BP) x2
100% PANEL SHEET COMPLETION REWARD: Ikaruga (Panel exclusive) (Rare, Light element)
Second Panel Sheet
-Clear Chapter 2 (beat all stages, don't need 100% of the cards in the chapter) REWARD: Sushi Set (restores 50 Stamina) x3
-Obtain all four cards in a chapter segment (I'm pretty sure this is what you have to do, just go 100% one of Chapter 1's segments as you'll use less Stamina) REWARD: Sushi Set (restores 50 Stamina) x3
-Restore your Stamina one time (Just blow all your Stamina and use a Sushi Set) REWARD: BP Drink (restores 1 BP) x3
-Max out a card's Light element REWARD: BP Drink (restores 1 BP) x3
-Max out a card's Shadow element REWARD: BP Drink (restores 1 BP) x3
-Perform a Flash evolution (combine a Light card and a Shadow card) REWARD: 1 Gold Ticket
-Reach Level 15 REWARD: Red Enhance Scroll (gives 400 EXP to a card) x5
-Join a Team (send a request, and must be accepted. If you're already in a Team, this mission automatically clears) REWARD: 20000 Currency
-Post in the Team Forum (just post a random comment) REWARD: 2000 Scout Points
100% PANEL SHEET COMPLETION REWARD: Ikaruga (Panel exclusive) (Rare, Shadow element)
Since I'm already in a Team (or guild for those more familiar with the term), I can post the Team link which will help with the second panel sheet.

Thanks for your answer, I have (a little more) a grasp on the game now Well, at least the gameplay isn't too taxing. I've gained tons of cards ...well, a little too much cards, anyway : what can I do with the ones I have in several copies ?

.... -Set a card for Light/Shadow training (may or may not have to set two, set two anyway) REWARD: BP Drink (restores 1 BP) x2.... Mind if you explain that into more detail or where do I have to go to achieve that. I had been messing around with everything, but nothing seems to get me this achievement. @.@ Also, my New Wave username is judge_magister if any of you want to add me to your friend list/group/guild/PvP me for the lols. I'm only lv 18 atm, but will continue playing.

Anybody else favour the GREE experience??? Hi there we did have one but it wasn't stickyed (is now), most people use mobage due to it being more region free, I have played the GREE version though.

The differences that I can say for both Mobage Dena and GREE is that:
GREE: + I had paid for the game before, so your credit cards will work. - Region lock. (Need VPN to get around it) +/- Card arts are more reserved and less fan-service-y than Mobage Dena. (No panty shot and less cleavage)
Mobage Dena: + No region lock. - Not accepting non-Japanese credit card, so can't pay for the game to get event cards etc. You may need to find a way around it by buying those pre-paid cards in Japan through some middleman/3rd party service. (At least my Aus credit cards don't work, not sure of other countries credit card will work or not) - Battling other players can be frustrating since older/already-quit players have UR Yomi EVERYWHERE which can ruin new players chance of winning a lot. I have another account created after the free UR Yomi distribution ended and it is struggling to battle many players (just to get fusion points). +/- Card arts are more fan-service-y than GREE. (Panty shot and increase cleavage exposure)
So it is up to your preference really. I am playing both atm which is very taxing on me. @_@;

Ive been playing the GREE version for a while now and Id say its a little dull now. I know these games are about milking profit but you gotta feel like you have a chance at least. I cannot remember the last SR I recieved from a gasha, all games have low odds of success but new wave makes you feel it. Other games like one piece grand collection have been far kinder to a cheap ass like me lol

I have been playing for a while and yes it is quite slow at the beginning as you still only got R and N cards. As you build up more R+ cards, when you participate in events you will get the coins to redeem for cards, which if you keep to 200 coins, grant you a guarantee SR card at least. That is pretty much how I patiently play and get my group of 5 SR+ cards atm. Now I just plow through the events to get 1 million pts quite easily (still can't compete with those who pay to get x7 atk bonus though). To me, getting the acquirable SR cards through patience is a reward I am satisfied with. Also I play for the Senran arts too so that's also why I can keep playing.

We don't have a team but that's a good idea if one was set up I would definitely join it. I can't remember how to set up a team or join team however.
