This is regarding my post on the Xseed board when I was asked "what the jell are you talking about" I was mainly talking about how do we build the community. Like FOX said we get tons of lurkers a day yet no one registers. The Vita game sold well enough Yet there are hardly any new members here to talk about the game and the ones that were here once they got the game they left.
So whats the problem? maybe some of our new members can help is understand from the outside looking in. What could we change? Are people afraid to get caught posting on this board regularly?
How come regular members debate more about this series on other boards then this board. The talks should start with us so we are all on the same page when we talk about the series.
Is there anyway to change this?
Please let me hear your thoughts on the matter.

Though in all seriousness... I may be wrong.. I think they may be afraid that once they register on here and start posting is that people will think they are pervs. Well how can you not be? (•_•) ( •_•)>⌐■-■ (⌐■_■) YEAHH!! Or another thing is that maybe they may not know much about the franchise & can't really you know, discuss or keep up with most people on here that know a lot about it and makes them feel discouraged thus I think whenever a new member joins and introduces him/her self we need to refer them to this -> guide (It may be too much but meh) Lastly.. They just really care whether it gets localized or not and don't have much to say about it, so they lurk.

I thought this too but you look ar gamefaqs and Xseed forums and the debates are still going on. You think everyone would come to one place if they would like to debate the issue fully and try and see what we can do. also alot of the debates are with people that know of the series. As for the perv thing that's what I talked about on the other forum maybe people want privacy. this I can't tell how it would work or help since alot of people already don't care about what they post.

Well some people dont like this series enough to register just for it, maybe if the board supported facebook, twitter usage?
Plus now that there is a like button people could just like posts if they don't know what to say.
With privacy you can hide all your information and even hide whether your online or not.

With privacy you can hide all your information and even hide whether your online or not.I was 100% sure it supported Twitter usage as another way to post... If not then I am sure ShinobiMuramasa can add it.. though I think you need some money for that. True, this board does have the whole hide online/members can only view profile. Filling in info isn't required or completely hide it. Now this may sound a bit depressing/harsh for the SIA, but... I honestly think that many people who want this game localized or follow it don't know about SIA. It's sort of hidden if you ask me(I guess a ninja academy should be? heh)... I mean, honestly it's not advertising itself enough.. Not saying other people who contribute to it don't try to, and I know they do advertise it. Really the only time SIA gets the spotlight is when SIA gets a community mission on OperationRainfall and that will last about a week or two weeks at most? What I really think is that after a community mission, SIA should remain more active than dead, you know what I mean? We should try to keep other threads alive at the same time the community mission is getting attention or being discussed in. I know most websites don't like advertisement and such, so that only leaves us to leave a link in our signatures or whatever else on forums/sites. I am sure signatures always gets the attention of those only interested in the Senran Kagura series. P.S. I typed more than I intended ._.

Unfortunately some people do not wish to leave the sites they are used to dievantart for example even the page cofounder didn't want to join when I offered. How do you suppose to do that? I can post fan art but that doesn't do much. Not many discussion seem to happen here even on news or merchandise.

Well you know it's usually the same 8 people who are active: h2foxo, ShinobiMuramasa(somewhat?), wave1000, allen24, Natsuru Senou, TwinTails, augen and I. You know, I think I am going have to think of something up.. I am usually good with this type of stuff. I guess "the guy behind the scenes" isn't there for nothing after all.

Right now those two are like biggest social media advertisers. Also I think whoever owns the twitter account should use the "#s_kagura" tag more often when tweeting or else it won't show up as much as the the other tweets on twitter related to Senran Kagura.

Incase it wasn't known ShinobiMuramasa runs the twitter account. And myself & ShinobiMuramasa run the facebook page but i am really the only one who posts there, when ShinobiMuramasa posts its usually through twitter which ends up on the facebook page. The two accounts are linked so posting on one shows up on the other linking to the original.

I don't understand why lurk? i can understand not posting but you could register then atleast the board could tell you what is new, especially if you keep showing up.
Nothing bad happens registering, no spam, no bullying and active friendly mods (& members actually), mods are not needed here (apart from moving threads rarely i dont use any mod powers). Senran Kagura is a Happy Place and about bringing peace between nations by a shared interest between all cultures and good games
