Turns out it will be "T" for Teen here to the surprise of almost everyone with some thinking an "AO" was even possible.
So, let's do a break down of ESRB rationale as Tom from XSeed has stated no censoring
Violence - This was a given, it is a beat 'em up Blood - Not sure how much here, certainly not God of War or Ninja Gaiden from all I've seen Sexual Themes - Acknowledged and still placed at T rating Partial Nudity - Of course, again still only a T rating Use of Alcohol - No issue here, some sake Language - Maybe a "damn" or something in here, nothing to worry about
Interesting part is the BIGGEST issue that XSeed, and many others touched on is not mentioned. No where does it state "under age" in terms of violence, sexual themes or alcohol consumption. Clearly for the ESRB the age of characters did not come into play when rating it and pretty much throws that issue out.
Obviously inevitable media backlash (meh) will happen, but that big hurdle turned out to be a non event for localizing the game.

I can see the dressing rooming being hacked up. You can't even view the girls in DOAD so how are you going to do that in here? I wonder will they cut some of the voice clips also in the dressing room, like when Hibari tell's you not to look at her butt.

We shall see given we have people with intimate knowledge of Japanese version.

So what the hell was the big deal with all these months and the "OH we can't sell it its too extreme" Something got cut or the board does not give a damn about handheld games like I always said because thats not news hits. Now if it was on PS360 Then they can get some hits.
There are no bonus CD and Drama CD with pervy Hanzo. lol

Exactly. If nothing is edited and still a "T" for teen rating then all that talk was not really an issue.

Game does not have blood either, does have death but no blood even when you killed a bunch of ninja girls.

The only blood I could think of is: {SPOILERS}That Orochi level with the girls being possessed.

I should note the ages will NOT be listed in the game. Essentially the ages will be blank or N/A.

Discussion to age up characters but ultimately just felt not mentioning was easiest way to go to avoid issues. Does not bother me as was idea I endorsed months ago.
