I guess if Agi joins us in talking about it i suppose he's Armin. XD Heh, all right then. Also, Agi? I am trying to avoid too much because I don't want future events spoiled. They kill lots of characters and several was bit surprised by so not sure who will make it out of this.

Sorry. Augen i came up with calling you Agi cause it makes sense you like Homura who has that fire form and Agi is fire magic from Shin Megami Tensei.

Alright Agi it is then. And how goes the show for you? I am into the battle for Trost. I really enjoy it, but I do have a question. This, understandably, is a society that has developed militaristic culture due to constantly fighting titans. Now, militaries tend to thrive on order and obedience, even in the face of death. Yet, in the show soldiers are routinely very emotional with outbursts of not wishing to die and openly defying orders. This makes sense in training, but they spend three years hardening themselves for war. Then, some of them have experience fighting titans and yet even the elite corps has dissension due to desires of self preservation. I completely get this from a civilian perspective, but in history millions of people were sent into battles they knew they would die fighting in. In many of them the goals of those battles were ambiguous (looks toward World War I) yet obedience ruled out. In this case the goal is simple, an unwavering threat means to destroy and eat every last of your kind, failure to fight will result in death. Maybe I am missing something, but to me humans have a fear threshold and then when all is lost the fear subsides to resignation and a new form of courage emerges. Die on a battlefield or die hiding. Neither are appealing, but when things are so bleak for humanity I would think vast majority would no longer concern themselves with own desires or goals. Still, I do love the show.

You see? That's what I like about Attack on Titan, because the characters actually act like human beings.

You got to remember a lot of those people where your at never actually fought a titan let alone see one in person till then. And the Elites act that way cause they are still human no matter how tough they are they just want to live and see the next day. No matter how you look at it the way the humans are living is nothing more then a prison and fake freedom from the titans.
And by the way which titan looks the most creepy too you two? For me it has to be the smiling titan just something disturbing about it.
