I was thinking we should change the color scheme of the whole forum to a black background with red text boxes and black font to fit the style of the banner. Something like this maybe?:

We should at least try to make this board look more impressionable. Do you have any ideas?

Have you read about colors and how they are used for maketing? Some of the biggest sites google and youtube have simple designs to make them more inviting to people that never been to such places or used the computer much. I products was built off this simple design look at things. That color would give off a more closed community feel then one of anyone can join.
But again I maybe wrong nothing I say is law you can ask a few of the members that were once lurkers and would they have joined if that was the original design and there thoughts on it would be a better overall look at the subject since they were slow to join in the first place.

I have been on forums that allow multiple optional "skins". They have plain grey as default for guests, but offer a blue one and a black one (I use that, easier on my eyes).
Just an idea.

We should at least try to make this board look more impressionable. Do you have any ideas? I appreciate the feedback. I understand that the gray and white is a bit bland, but even getting the board to look like this took me some time. Perhaps I'll set up a poll soon to see more opinions and what colors people would like to see. Have you read about colors and how they are used for maketing? Initially I did consider having the board follow the color scheme of the main banner, but this was what I was going for. The current color scheme for the board is more inviting than the black and red combination, so I went with this. I have been on forums that allow multiple optional "skins". They have plain grey as default for guests, but offer a blue one and a black one (I use that, easier on my eyes). Just an idea. I will look into this. As far as I've seen so far though, I can create multiple skins to save but I have to select one to be in use. I could work on creating some more skins and cycle through them every once in a while, or something like that. I suppose I probably should have made a poll asking for the next feature people would like I see before I went ahead and set up the chatroom, since that doesn't seem to be getting much use yet. I appreciate the feedback everyone, so please keep it coming. I want to make the board as enjoyable as possible for everyone.

This is still a new board and we are still in the inviting stage so I don't think color changes would help that should happen after we got alot more active members. Maybe when the Vita or Anime come we can change it to those colors to stay current.

For board skin/colors, remember to make a Hanzo theme (red) and Hebi theme (green). (Maybe those 2 from VITA series as well)

Does anyone else get asked trivia questions to log on on now? I had to answer a question about George Washington (1st president of US) to log on today.
