Don't forget the first SK game's engine was developed three years ago now. We can hope for some optimizations now (and if framerate was really an issue in SK2 - worse than SKB -, I guess they wouldn't have proposed the feature). But the first game was going to be all 3D but they backed out because it was too hard and time consuming. I would not chance it and put out my best efforts since 3d is not even big anymore. A lot of players are worried about this 100% 3d. Companies, people, technology and systems develop. Also please note too hard and time consuming are relative to the games budget.

The game has less characters and is not online like skv if things advanced these would still not be an issue but they are so there is no reason to think all is well when it's basics are not coverd still. You have the vita game is this a step forward in your eyes so far. Because now it's going to get compared to that game more.

Still even though SK2 is not as good as SKV and most likely SKE, it's will most likely be a great game for the platform it's on. It's not going to be like Exstetra where the 3DS version looked like shit but the Vita version looked great, that game was a bit average overall though.

We were talking about difficulties they faced before with 3DS not how good it is to the VITA. Yes the VITA will beat it as the system has more ability in graphics and co but previous issues can be solved each game.

The problem is they have to solve the issue and present new content which could raise more issues, 3d is not helping any issue its just there eating time and energy. Pokemon does not even have 3d that should tell them somethinf about its value now and what should come first and that's the game. Keep in mind this is a main land game so expectations are higher.

Sernan Kagura originates on seeing Boobs in 3D maybe they felt they needed to commit But not the whole game. That must be hard. I can see characters But little stupid enemies come on. And we now have a creep in the game so no telling how the story with him is. . I really hope there is no implied rape or anything with that creep.

A fusion? LOL
Btw, about the possible lag with the 3D feature: It is just me or the game had FEWER enemies on the screen on that video? Fewer enemies is less lag on the 3DS.
And someone said to me you can resolve laggy issues by reducing the size of the code of the game and the "artifacts" (like those things we do wrong but we leave in the code anyways). I tried in some of programming I did (not for games, actually, but still) and reducing those things actually works. I think they took that in consideration.
Another thing I think they took in consideration was the size of the textures. If you add extremely heavy and detailed textures in a game it tends to be a lot heavy and some systems (like the 3DS) just can't take it. They probably changed the format of the textures to something a lot smaller and well compressed. A good compression gives the necessary smoothness the game needs and I saw some examples of that during my game experience...
I also noticed that the change in the camera angle is maybe to solve that issue with the off screen annoying projectiles... I think it can be good in that way. The camera angle also helps in the "too much enemies on screen causing lag" issue I think...
But yeah... that is as far as my knowledge goes, of course. Sorry if I said something wrong.

Well you can tell the backrounds are not as details as burst so they can make the stages 3d now and yes they cut back on enemies. Pretty sure lighting will also be changed. There is a bunch of stuff from the video you can see they did but most things are work arounds and not solutions because if they had that there would be no reason to drop the original burst 2d format.

I can't wait to play this. <3
Also I like the quality assessments going on around in this thread, seeing that SK2 will be released months later (over six months, if I remember correctly). This reminds me of Super Mario 3D World.

I wonder how far are they going to do the clothes breaking in SK2, hopefully we can get the full breaking with the censors like in SKV. I wouldn't mind that in the game and it can be implemented because Seisou no Amazones has almost the same censor style when the girls are nude.
