I did a bunch of last minute grinding to get some last few voting tickets and coins to try to win some of those bride reprints. I didn't get any reprints, but I've managed to scrounge together 200 voting tickets. Of course the one time I don't shoot for 400 tickets is when Leo is ranked high on the individual poll. At least I'll get a nice Yumi card...

Well they changed how the Platinum gacha works. it is now a set chance to get the cards. People who pay are guaranteed a card but I believe it applies to every draw now and can be any of the cards not just the B/C prize. The hammer chance is still there but doesn't award any cards just Genkaitoppa.
I'm not really sure how to feel about this. It was great being able to abuse the hammer gacha to get better odds of winning. I have gotten an S prize half of the time I drew the gacha because of this. However this also makes the rarer cards rarer for paying players as well. This may level the playing field more.
Also how do we get the kagari, Asuka & Yumi, and Homura & Miyabi cards. I can't seem to find it anywhere.

That was the only place I didn't look because there hasn't been anything there before. It even said mission in the pop-up thing. The change about the platinum gacha is probably permanent. Another thing about it is that they added a point bonus that gives you platinum points for doing the gacha. You can use them to buy the cards in the platinum gacha. After the event is over they turn into shinobi medals. shinobi medals will be able to buy various items in the future. |

Couple comments about gacha.
The platinum gacha change is worse now for free players because people want the chance to get slayers. Probability wise, you're not going to get more than one slayer from your pull of 10. The old way was much more generous because you could have gotten S, A, and B. Most of us don't really want S, A, or B.
I will say this change though makes it easier for paying players to get LRs. The possible 1500 for an 8% chance of slayers sounds nice.
Yeah, at the end of the day, it's all about the money.
This apron event though is hot and the Yumi, Ushimaru, and Tsubaki cards are hot.

Just wondering what do you guys do with your support gacha dupes. I have a ton of R Ginrei cards but should I sell them for rare medals or limit break max one of them. Also I have lot SR chitose from the previous event should I max out of them (limit break) or sell them? What do you guys do?
Also how does a F2P player go about limit breaking LR cards beacuase I am struggling to limit break mine.

R Ginreis aren't really worth keeping because Ginrei isn't a common character that you need to have for deck bonuses. Characters you need to have for deck bonuses are the common plat girls you see [ Yumi, Souji, Leo, Ikaruga, Basho, Kagura, Rin, Fuga, Hikage, Yuyaki, Shiki, Naraku etc.]. Basically, characters you see in the actual games except Hibari, Yagyu, Minori, Imu, Dai, and Hanabi. The Homura Corps girls are pretty balanced evenly imo but Mirai comes up the least. Jasmine was recently released in December so it's hard to say. If you have a UR Char or LR Char, sell SR. You need those rare medals for UR gk. Limit Break LR cards as a F2P is impossible. You can get a LR gk for dropping 50 secret manuals, 2000 infinite boss raid medals, or for scoring high in the tower event at the end of the month. |

max out every dupe you can before you sell them
you get more training points for it. at least 100k for rares and something close to 300k for SRs.
don't combine the dupes into one another. level each and every one seperately. its a giant pain in the ass, yes. but it's worth it to have as many points as possible. either for rebirthing cards, or for spamming limitbreaks if you've run out of parfaits
anyway, yeah. i agree with everyone else. these changes for the gacha are the worst. while it's nice that a slayer is guaranteed, at least. the price of pulls themselves are just too pricey. plus, the "guaranteed slayer" effect on the gacha isn't exactly new. it's just that now it's there forever, as opposed to showing up during certain times. same deal with the platinum points. the platinum points were already there. it's just that now you don't get the card automatically and you have to exchange the points yourself now.. these changes are completely worthless for the most part and while i'd love to spend some money on the game, i just feel like it's way too pricey for what you get. the guaranteed slayer effect being (seemingly) permanent is okay, but it's not going to really change my mind.
especially since premium tickets are exempt from the whole thing. what's even the point of these now? they're already rare as hell as it is. and now there's even less of a chance at getting something decent from them?
cool that the points change into other stuff after the event is over. but it's not gonna be anything worthwhile, most likely. or it's going to favor spending a whole bunch.

Anyway, onto this event. It's sports themed, which I guess isn't new but these cards are nice. I generally don't spend money anymore, but these 7 Step events with a guaranteed LR are usually the exception if it's a character I like, and Kumi is a character I like. So my goal this week is going to be 300,000 so I can fully rebirth the Kumi LR, while also trying to get that delicious Ageha as a reward.
Also, looks like the premium gacha changes are still here. I wasn't sure if they;d change back or something since they might have been testing it. I hope it's not here to stay, but dunno. I just found out that you can exchange the points for Rare card rebirth books, which I still need to rebirth the Rin card for the Rin XR. Like, seriously, I could have gotten the Rin to LR at this point, but for some reason Rare rebirth books are really rare...
I like how Kagura is wearing a shirt that says "Kagura" on it. I guess since it's a uniform is has her name on it, but a lot of past cards have had girls wearing something that says "Kagura" on it, and now the actual Kagura is wearing something like that. I dunno where I'm going with this.
