So basically, for defeating bosses, you get hearts that you can use to level up the girls in that menu. Once you invest enough points into them, the card rarity will increase. After the event is over, you'll get whatever cards you've leveled up in this way. However, it's highly advised that you focus on the 3 main girls for this event (Mai, Kochou, & Haruka) because they have a special effect where a certain type of hearts will count for 3x the points towards them. Plus, they act as slayers for the next event, so if you wanna do well next week, go for them.
Anyway, as for this event in general, I'm enjoying it so far. The cards are quite nice (especially the Murasaki, Yozakura, & Bashou ones <3 ). Plus, while I used all of my platinum tickets on this event & got mostly nothing, I did get the Ashiya card, which is pretty sweet (though admittedly it's the least one I wanted, but hey, I'll take it)

Anyone having trouble fighting the Challenge Mode Ikaruga? Last month's bonus damage was Yang with Hanzou and Hebijo, and this month it's only Yang and Hanzou, and I now realize how much of my decks last month were Hebijo. I was able to finally beat it, but I'll have to resort to my old method of using 10 CP from before, and beating the boss with 34 CP, then spending a day to cool off.

i pretty much have not even bothered this time around. the months where they force you to build decks out of one specific school are not fun. there's simply not enough cards for free players in those instances.

...Tbh, I was on pace to beat the intermediate version of her, but I completely forgot until seeing your post, Seebach, & by then it was too late. >w<
But yeah, it's definitely harder now cuz of the lack of viable cards. Like I said, I seem to be able to do it, but it definitely takes longer now, & yeah, I don't really like it much...
Also, as an aside, I managed to somehow get the Saki card through my free pull for the day...Yay! <3 ^w^

they're only available during the tayuyun festival
so they'll go away after this event ends. then show up MAYBE in the event after the battle event. we'll see whether they continue with the 2 tayuyun fests a month thing they've been doing lately or not.

Just wondering do you guys use your free draw straight away or do you save it for the right time to get an S bonus???
Btw, I do mine straight away but one time I managed to get an A

Okay like, I couldn't even beat the Ikaruga Hard boss this time, even with 34 CP. It's gotten way too hard. I might have to give up for the month, too. So much for silver scrolls every day... Just wondering do you guys use your free draw straight away or do you save it for the right time to get an S bonus??? Btw, I do mine straight away but one time I managed to get an A It's good to try to wait for when the scores are really low, especially when you're spending actual mobacoins, to try to time it right. But when you're just doing a single pull, your odds aren't very good even if the numbers are low. I'd sure like to get an A with it. One time I managed to get an S with a 100 mobacoin pull. |

i got an A bonus with a ticket i used by accident for the bunny shiki card
of course, i didnt use the card because i still didnt understand how the game worked.
otherwise, the best thing i've gotten with any free pulls was the reprinted witch hikage card. i ended up getting Ashiya yesterday. hopefully i can compete for the damage rankings...but probably not, tbh. hoping i can get something else, mostly.

Well they made the 2nd half gacha easier to get. A 1% LR chance each pull seems pretty good, especially when before you would need that to do 2700 for a 40, 60, 80 and 100 each successive card.
Everyone should be praying they get LR Basho to drop from the free pull everyday. XR cards are too strong really.

Yes! I got the Murasaki card from the free daily gacha!
I really hope the daily free draw stays for a while, if not indefinitely. It makes up for the gacha changes a little bit.
These Challenge Mode Ikarugas are really bugging me, though. It's bad enough that I can't even beat them (several times it came down to needing one more CP), but even the Intermediate bosses take me like 7 CP. And I've put all my good Yang and Hanzo cards into the first two decks, so now I don't really have anything good for the last deck. And between CP not being replenishable and damage being somewhat varied, it takes a while to trial and error which decks are the best.
Sorry to complain, I was just really enjoying getting one white scroll a day.

So doing the math if they do two tayuyun festivals a month which I am going to assume adds up to 16 days(9+7). We have a 5.5% chance to win a card from the cards exclusive to the platinum gacha (slayers and kiss cards) with a free draw. If we use our free draw everyday we have about a 60% chance to win a card each month. Also This doesn't include the reprint cards that they add to the gacha as those have an additional 1.53% chance to drop. These odds are pretty great. I really hope this isn't a one time thing.

we'll have to pay really close attention to what they do after the next battle event.
also, were having maintenance earlier this week. tonight, specifically. we're getting special 7/7 bonuses, i guess. so hopefully we get something good aside from the revealed changes
speaking of!
- the Level cap is being raised to 150
- you get an LR Book at level 100
- you get platinum tickets at 110
- some new missions
- speaking of missions, there's gonna be one mission for Tanabata. spend 77 stamina and you get...something

Okay, it feels really good to level up. I've been at Level 80 Max for like two years.
This Ikaruga banner (Happy Birthday!) also looks pretty great, but the odds aren't too great so I'm going to hold off for now, as much as I'd like some Ikaruga cards for my collection. She's one of the most popular characters in the game, so they'll undoubtedly do this again next year.
For now, I need to grind for the outfits, and try to get to Level 100 ASAP.
