yes
its harder (well, more time consuming) than it seems though, since the amount of enemies needed to advance only gets higher as you go on. at 6, you need to beat 200 teams to get to area 7.

Does anyone know how to get the UR book from getting to area 6-1? I'm way past it but it says "you can receive directives only over covert."

If you cant get it now, you wont get it. I really like the cards this event. I'm going for Bashou. Managed to get the Ryoubi slayer. |

to get that rank, you need to reach 500 wins. its a lot, but it got reduced from 1000 500 wins for the Battle event. Is this an additional requirement to all those weekly UR? Thanks. |

I do say, the area boss rewards make it worthwhile. Dumb grinding event but you can fully rebirth 3 URs and get an LR book just by going through all of them. I have two more to go.

Is there...any reason to buy slayers for this event? I guess for the point multiplier, but...you don't really need them just to get through the actual thing, unless the amount of damage required to beat the enemies suddenly goes up in the last area or something. I'm in 8-1, probably a long way to go, but so far I've been breezing through this just fine. I haven't spent any milk, which is great, since I can save it for the battle events to make it to 500 each month. Unless you're shooting for the Top 30 prize (I would like that Bashou, but that probably ain't gonna happen), it's probably possible to reach 10-10 and get that LR book without spending any money (technically I spent to get the Yugiri LR but that's more because it was a Yugiri LR).
I'm actually down for these kinds of events again, although it is taking a toll on my sushi supply for once, and they might make it harder to get the LR book in the future. Remember, any time they implement something new like this, always abuse it for the best rewards before they realize what they've done!

the amount of damage needed does increase, but it really doesn't matter, because you don't have to kill the bosses in one hit like you did in tower events. maybe the next time this comes around, they'll change things, but for now, yeah, you don't have to worry about beating the bosses in one hit because attacking a second time takes into account the damage you've already done.
that said, the stamina drain is high. i had 3k+ small sushi and have just over 1.3k or so now. the big benefit to reaching the end are the URs, the 4-5 white scrolls, and the LR book, but i think the sushi drain is too high in that regard, even for paying players. i expect some changes to be made to encourage spending, because it really seems like people didn't spend that much this time around. but who knows. for now, i like the fact that the event gives so much milk and ice cream, i desperately needed refills on those but i don't expect that to stay for long, either. i also dont expect free hits to stay as well. oddly, you can use free hits over and over on bosses with no penalty. so...yeah. thats why i think there'll be changes next time around.

Actually for tower events you didn't need to defeat the bosses in one hit that was only for fever bosses. I think free hits will stay at least on regular opponents because this event is almost impossible without them. It takes 2290 wins to complete. Spending that much milk on top of the sushi wouldn't be worth all the rewards for doing so.

Whew, just finally beat 10-10. I'm grateful for the "free" UR and LR rebirth books but...damn that was quite the grind. That cost me 2000+ little sushis, since it cost 1 small sushi per fight. Now, I've got quite a lot of sushi saved up so I'm glad to use this instead of milk for once, but...I don't think I'll be able to use this much again (actually I have enough to do it again, but I don't want to diminish my sushi supply so quickly). Still, this event is an interesting mix up, I wonder how they'll change it in the future.

They...finally did it. YOU MANIACS! YOU BLEW IT UP! DAMN YOU ALL TO HELL! In all seriousness, I was really hoping they wouldn't give more than one XR to anyone. I get why they're doing it, and I'm glad that Asuka got it first instead of Yumi, but...was kinda hoping XR's would remain special and be one per girl. Also Challenge Mode boss is now Kagura, and she's weak to Flash (Yellow) cards and...Kagura and Naraku... It's gonna be a lot harder to form teams, since you can't really rely on both weaknesses this team. Other than that, the cards look pretty good this event. I'm not really sure how we get the Yuuyaki LR but I'd like to shoot for it if possible. |
