I thoroughly enjoyed the TV show of Busou Shinki because I was expecting a slice of life... because that's what they said it would be before it started.
Even if SK is a slice of life I don't mind; it'll be full of breasts and I like those kind of shows.

senran.tv/special/archives/event_happynewyear.html#nico2I probably already mentioned that there was a live event on the 6th Jan with Harada Hitomi, Kobayashi Yuu, Iguchi Yuka (Asuka, Katsuragi and Hibari) and Takagi appearing where they're showing off the game and first ep of the anime. There's another event taking place on the 10th Jan, this time a nico live. The same cast and staff will appear. It'll also have a compilation video of the event that took place 4 days prior.

Yep, it's an advanced screening of the full episode at the 6th Jan event so they get to see it a whole 3 hours earlier before it airs on TV Edit: New special feature popped up today senran.tv/special/archives/osinobi.html"Shinobi Girls Meet" Harada Hitomi, Kobayashi Yuu, Iguchi Yuka and Kitamura Eri star in a 6 part "PR" program to build up excitement for the anime. I thought it was hilarious, I can't wait for the remaining parts. It's probably the usual stuff for this kind of thing; they sit around eating and drinking having a banter plus they'll do some ninja stuff like throwing stars. |

I believe there is a Homura version of the first image you posted coming with the March issue of Comic Alive (the Asuka one came with Feb's), I can't remember where I read that though. They're alternate covers for the manga. In that magazine there's a special feature on the first episode of the anime and a few other things to do with the show. It's a shame it costs so much to buy magazines, the price of postage is the same, even more than the price of the magazine itself so it's really offputting. Also, you might want a larger res version of that posterAnd the one that came with Nyan TypeFinally: Same as the other second trailer but there are a few new scenes at about 1:30. |

I had an idea, and wonder if we could set this up, a "Watch Party" where we log on the chat here and all hit play and discuss the first episode as we watch?

I came across a nice little thing on Lisani!It contained a conversation that the girls in the image above, in their kimonos, had so I attempted to translate it. There are bits I'm not confident with, I don't know how to translate "舞い忍びます" which is a phrase that's said quite a lot in the games (although the Hebijou girls had different variations). Asuka, Ikaruga, Katsuragi: Everyone, Happy New Year!!
Asuka: Last year the Senran Kagura game was completed and this year, at last, the anime will appear, I'm so excited for it!
Ikaruga: Speaking of a new year, you think about your aspirations for the coming year. Firstly, Asuka-san let's hear yours.
Asuka: uuum, having fun with everyone and eating grandpa's futomaki sounds nice.
Katsuragi: I want to fight and defeat strong people! That's all I need!!
Ikaruga: I see. I would like to diligently carry on my studies and continue down my own path.
Katsuragi: Stop saying such stiff things like that from the start of the new year, let's all go drink some juice!
Ikaruga: You'll mess up your kimono if you continue to act like that Katsuragi-san.

All this advertising, I think 2ch is slightly wrong on the predictions on BD sales, 5200 is a little low but then it has to compete with Vividred Operation which is projected to be the top seller. My predictions go into the 6000-7000 range for vol 1.
