I'm liking it so far in the show! The use of the shoulder is... interesting.
Surprised Poog hasn't said anything about the new Toho Godzilla movie though.

You know, as soon as I saw a new post in this topic, I was thinking "MAN I SHOULD POST ABOUT THE NEW TOHO GOJI MOVIE". But. Yeah!

I keep forgetting to post here!
So Drive has gotten a lot better and Ninninger, the upcoming ninja themed Super Sentai series, starts very, very soon! Looking forward to seeing how it turns out.

Wow, it's been a while!
Okay, so Drive has been airing and continuing to get better, and Shuriken Sentai Ninninger airs this weekend! It actually airs within hours, if it hasn't already, in fact! Be sure to check it out if you're interested. And if you can draw, be sure to draw the Senran girls cosplaying it.

Any Gaim fans around? After Kamen Rider Gaim Gaiden Baron and Zangetsu, now Duke and Knuckle will be getting their own stories! Should be pretty cool. Also, Drive and Ninninger are continuing onwards - Ninninger is ending its first "season" soon, Drive is about halfway done, and a new Ultraman is starting in July!

Not hugely noteworthy, but Toho is recruiting extras for the 2016 Goji film. I really wanna see the new suit. The footprint implies a more slender Godzilla.

I suppose I should mention it here, but the new Kamen Rider series, Kamen Rider Ghost, starts in a few weeks! He uses the souls of dead people like Thomas Edison and Isaac Newton to transform to fight evil!

Is that Ghost?
It doesn't look very good but if the writer is good then it could turn out like Gaim.
Did they mention who will be writing?

Other pictures have it looking pretty good, so I'm hoping this is just an awkward shot - and yeah, they did, but they're sort of fresh blood... I... think? They've only done Ultraman stuff before, I think? And W and Fourze's producer is going to be working on it? I really like the concept, so as long as it's done somewhat well, I'll be happy. If they make it a more-than-2or3-Riders show with the concept, even if it's terrible, I'll still enjoy it.

I'm hoping it was an awkward shot because from the name I was expecting something a little bit more, well, menacing or scary. After hearing that I'm hot hopeful anymore. Ultraman isn't bad by any means but it is certainly lighthearted while W and Fourze is the most lighthearted of the Phase 2 KR shows. I'm not saying lighthearted is bad but Gaim did set up some expectations and Drive didn't meet that for me. I like the concept as well but I sort of wanted another Gaim or at least something that is just as well written and dark as Gaim and so far I'm not getting that feeling but I could be wrong since Gaim didn't look as good at the start.

Preliminary reactions to his cameo in the movie, from what I remember, sounded pretty positive, but that's not saying much considering some of these movies are filmed before the shows even have a character set to play the Rider. That said, while I doubt they'd ever make the main Rider menacing or scary, they already confirmed a second Rider in toy scans, so I'm crossing my fingers that we may see that through there hopefully being more than two Riders early on. Maybe not the amount Gaim had, but if we have a second this early, I'd be shocked if they don't add at least two more by the end. Drive's been pretty good about movie Riders too. Also I read the date wrong. By a few weeks I actually should have said in October or something.

Yeah, I wouldn't go with reaction from the movie either since it's just a cameo but didn't Gaim get a good reaction when he cameo in Wizard's final episode? I don't mean too scary but with the game "Ghost" you sort of expect something a bit more horror based than what we got, then again I haven't seen the transformation or powers yet and I'm hoping for the kind of rivalry that Kouta and Kaito had this time round. Also I'm not asking for lots and lots like what Gaim or Ryuki had but at least have the riders you have more depth to them than just a catch phrase. I'm probably going to see the new movie so I can see Ghost's debut but otherwise I'm not really interested in Drive. Honestly can't wait.

It was definitely the angle that made Ghost look weird. Not a huge fan of the Driver through, wish they return to the days where it wasn't so bulky and weird.

I think it might've been at the point then that we knew a lot about Gaim already though. Drive actually really picked up. Like... it took it a bit, but around the late 20s, it got really good. Like... I would absolutely recommend catching up with it, if you haven't already. The first 10 or so episodes were so-so and the late teens and early 20s aren't the most stellar either, but once it got in gear (ha! puns), it turned out to be one of the better shows. I think I'd easily rate it above Wizard (not that that's hard) and Fourze, if nothing else. Not sure how it stacks up against W, OOO, and Gaim for me, but I really like those. Anyway, next week is the last episode, and then it's time for Ghost!
