I'll be straight here. I don't want to sound like I'm complaining or anything, I just want some advice.
I been raised to do my best at everything I do, and I long as I do my best, nothing could go wrong. As I got older, me doing my best came and went, but it began to apply in things that didn't matter, like video games for instance. I got a game over in a game that I was decent at while co-oping with my girlfriend; she had a blast, but I got really upset because I got the game over and the fact that it happened when she was there. So, because of things like that. I've been told several times that I need to loosen up and just have fun.
I don't know how to do that in the things I love to do. I always get competitive and I want to stop that. I wanted to try doing this alone, but I think it's time I asked for some help. Does anyone have any advice on how I should do this?

Well, to begin with it's always important to try your best in everything you can do. And while there's nothing wrong with some innocent competition, anything you like doing ain't a race when it comes to other people participating. If you lose something like a video game or sport or something, then I can certainly understand the disappointment, but then again it's no big deal. Don't be bitter and upset if you lose - instead, don't take it too seriously and just have fun. If someone wins, accept it and be happy for the person that won. I may have not been of much help, but to be honest I was competitive little shit myself back in the day, so you aren't alone.

I would say find a balance of being extremely competitive but find ways too have fun with it. Being competitive is a skill you need in the world to get what you want so you can't avoid it If others say you need to losen up just tell them whatever field you are competitive in it's just business and you can't hold back your talent or skill for no one because you never know where opportunity will come at you so you want to at least put your best foot forward.
Hope I helped.
