TwinTails I'm waiting for you. You didn't specify time zone.

I wasn't really expecting to win both matches with 3 to 1 knock outs.

Well my play style is too predictable.

Well my play style is too predictable. Tip 1 is that rushing your opponent is going to leave yourself open. Tip 2 would be to never grab the ledge upon recovery. Tip 3 is to never stay in one place for to long. Tip 4 is to pick a character that has a counter. I'd tell you why you'd have to do all those things, but it's best that you study my play style in action and learn accordingly.

In fighting games or any game in general. It's all about understanding your abilities and weaknesses and adapting to situations, which also means learning what your opponents do. Of course practicing is imperative if you want to get better.

Leon is absolutely correct. And Twin, grabbing the ledge is actually very important. It grants temporary invincibility and a moment to plan out your next move. Sure people will try to spike you on your way to it, but its all in how you choose to approach it.

Unfortunately, Red-Cap was disqualified due to missing the deadline. Ayanami advances. Hibari and Excelion are being given till the end of Sunday, if they dont complete their match, I'm going to flip a coin to decide who advances in winner's bracket, since they've both tried getting a match time going. I hate to have it that way, but I cant really see any better way to determine who moves on.

And they will try to jump on the ledge with me and knock me away or bullshit me with Captain Falcon's meteor smash. Smash 3DS has gotten too defensive.

I've barely touched my 3DS, let alone Smash, since my last match. I wish everyone else good luck.

Bracket updated once again. challonge.com/SIASmashAyanami forfeit her match against Asuka due to scheduling and such. Almost at the final match, folks. Asuka and TwinTails have till Saturday to complete their match. From there, the winner plays Hibari, and whoeever comes out of that match plays me for the very final match, so I suspect these ought to go faster.
