The fire red Homura is at you call once unlocked, How does she fare compared to her original form well lets take a look at this radical redhead.
Homura in this form only has one version and can not change forms or styles to say so there is just one move sets and she is already in turnover so what you see is what you get. Some things to quickly note is that this style is a combination of all 3 forms so she has greater power from the yang form she has the infinite air combo's and draw back of being hit from the senran form and has the general speed and attack types of the Yin form.
Homura (Crimson)
This version of Homura in alot of ways can be considered the same as the last one and has the same core weakneses the only diffrence is her new tools that are greater then her previous version. Lets to a look at some of them.
Sword attacks- Homura's Sword attacks and strings of gotten more complicted for no reason and again there is no real advantage or major property changes to be had in these long strings compared to someone like Yomi or Mirai who are rewarded for these long attacks and with her using the senran style along with the others she will get hit long before she can finish most of her attacks. That being said she does have a much quicker launch string and once you get the enemy in the air they are as good as dead.
Air attacks- She does not have much in air movment and air attacks but she does the senran ability of infinite air combos so this combined with her power is enough to take out any size enemy once you get them in the air.
Dive attack- Homura(crimson) has one of the best dive attacks in the game and this is because that hit box or range of the attack is so big that when she does a normal jump her sword hits enemies and so its easy to just jump and then dive for double damage all the time.
Movement- This is the air where Homura(crimson) is lacking because she is using the senran form of movment so all her dashs are large but slow.
Limit break- Now this is what makes Homura(crimson) special, She has one of the fastest and best limit breaks in the game. Only characters on her level is Rin and Daidouji. Her limit break is a quick invincable launcher attack so this means right after the hit connects you can press A to go right after the enemy and the invincability means No enemy will beat it out and like I said once she gets the enemy in the air they are dead because she has the air infinite. this is what makes her so badass its not even her normal attacks its that alot of her good moves lead into another.
Ninpou- Homura(Crimson) Ninpou's again are very bas with one thats extremely powerful. Her first ninpou and air ninpou are similar to her old form but for some reason both are weakers, I guess they had to make room for her 2nd ground ninpou. Her 2nd ninpou from the ground is the enemy and framerate killer you want to kill the framerate use this . Homura Summons all her Swords so spin around her hitting the enemy multiple times and while this is happening she dives down to the grown with her main sword and all the others follow. It pretty long and it takes as much energy as you would think something as crazy as this would. No need to worry about disadvantage after the attack because if anything is alive you can limit break and gain your meters back for another version.
Homura(crimson) is a power character and should be played that way buring as much ninpou meter and abusing as much of the limit break as you can. Since all her major moves connect so well there is not reason to not go all out because power is nothing to her and she can gain her ninpou easy as the senior members of the game. This is easily the best version of Homura and while her attacking and everything else remains bad at least she is givin enough good stuff to make up for it this time around.
