Interesting, so you do layers of lineart and look like a copy layer on each character.
I am really curious about coloring techniques with shading as think they make drawings pop more.
Do you do all this with a mouse or have equipment that reads your hand gestures. Friend of mine had a tablet like attachment to make drawing more natural for her.

Yes, I use a tablet. With mouse it would be impossible.
This is the archive for the coloring, but I also have another one for the lineart.
First I draw a sketch, next I make the drawing and, in the end, I redo the drawing to look just like the lineart I showed here. For the lineart I make a ton of layers so is more comfortable to work with them, if for example I need to change the size of something I only have to change one single layer. If I need it, I create folders for the layers (a folder for the hair, other for the face, etc).
When finished I create a second archive fusing the layers, that's the one in the image: only one layer for daidouji and only one for yuugi. I duplicate them for references because sometimes I have to change things, this way I don't need to open again the first archive. Then, I do the same thing I did with the lineart: to create folders and layers.
For the techniques I use... well, I use Sai but some people prefer to use photoshop or mangastudio. Practicing, looking over the internet for examples, it's all you need.

Some work in progress from my next drawing. My OC, Aiko Kazemi, preparing for a mission. Don't stare at her too much, she is feeling a bit uncomfortable. Remember that it's only a wip, so I still have to make a few tweaks.
