Damn, could've sworn I'd heard from one of the producers that he wasn't necessarily dead. That and the fact that grimm melt when they die and that thing was killed almost immediately after eating him. Oh well. He had to go eventually, I was just hoping we'd get to see his semblence at some point. At least we still have Neo.
And yeeeeah, Yang's future gun-arm will be sweet. Gotta get through Sad Yang first though.
I'll pick up Grimm Eclipse at pretty much any given moment. I just didn't want to play it too much before it actually gets released and get burned out of it. The alpha I played was pretty fun for what it was so I can only imagine that it's getting better with each update.

I also still kinda doubt Pyrrha's death. Iunno, it felt kinda... Quick, and just odd to kill off a main character of power after we had so much happy go lucky with no death.
And Penny will prolly be rebuilt.

And Penny will prolly be rebuilt. Yeah, I dunno. There's always been a weird disconnect especially with some of the music and the nature/themes of the show. A lot of dark songs but the content until the end of volume 3 was pretty light. So I kinda viewed everything we've seen so far just a lead in/introduction to the real meat of the show. Like, give us a taste of how things used to be and now everything's gonna be darker and shit. (Which, I do kinda hope they keep up, I really like the tone shift) As much as I liked Pyrrha, I do kinda hope she stays dead/"dead". But hey, as long as they don't give anyone in RWBY the Church treatment like in Red vs Blue... I also thought they had to kill her off to give the other characters a chance to grow and stuff. But yeah, Penny will absolutely be rebuilt. Perks of killing off a robot as your show's first death.

I saw this theory on I think tumblr that volume 1 was based on spring, which is warm and fluffy and new. Volume 2 is based on summer, where things heat up, get more mature. Volume 3 is based on fall. Things start out nice enough, but it gets dark fast. Therefore volume 4 is based on winter. Cold, dead, dark. Needless to say I can't wait for volume 4 to completely ruin me.

(Edited for typos)
I feel it's probably gonna be like Valkyria Chronicles or FMA:B where it's gonna have both serious & light hearted moments. As far as character deaths go besides maybe a feel red shirts, I don't see any more mains getting killed off for awhile. My opinion 1 death is more impactful than 100. Plus I feel both western & eastern entertainment has done the "everyone dies" trope so much in recent years. That its lost its shock value & has become comedic to me. Also another trope I've gotten tired of is the "destiny" trope. I hope the way Pyrrha died was just a one time reference & nothing more. Otherwise the show is going to become really predictable really fast. Thoughts on V3 it was a thumbs up for me. Character development & motives were really great for both the faces & heels. Our heros are ahead on their way & I can't wait to see the world outside of Vale.

I can see maybe one more death but tbh I don't want anyone in Team RNJR to get hurt they've been through enough the poor babies.

Whether or not it's true, I like that season theory thing. It works thematically and makes sense for the story structure-- just surprised I'd never heard of it.
I think they'll cool it on the deaths for now though I especially won't be surprised if/when some of the older characters (Qrow, their dad whose name I don't remember, maybe Oz, etc.) get killed off.
Given Miles' nature of killing of characters in other Roosterteeth shows, RWBY is in for some more at some point. But yeah, totally agree, I'd hate to see any of our existing protags bite the dust.

Metrocon has released their roster for this year's anime chess match. This year's theme is order vs. chaos with Phoenix Wright looking like the main character of the story. I bring this up because Yang Xiao Long is on the card. If you don't know what ACM is it's a live theater show with tons of crossovers that takes place at Metrocon in Tampa Florida. If you wanna see their shows checkout their youtube channel: Team Dynamite Productions.
Man considering how much Yang is being pushed by the fans. I won't be surprise if Baz McMahon debuts her at one of the VGCW shows. They could give her a underdog push similar to Sami Zayn. Have her finisher be the Helluva punch.XD
Btw if you're having a bad day look up Sami Zayn's theme song called Worlds Apart. It's super upbeat & awesome.XD

I'm considering going, though I don't know if the theaters in my area will sell enough tickets for it to be confirmed here. If anyone here does go it'd be cool to hear about it.

My understanding was that if there wasn't a screening in your area/country, you could make one through tugg so long as enough other people buy tickets to your screening. Unless you mean tugg as a service isn't available? I went to the Lazer Team screening here; it was a lot of fun. Our theater was sold out so it was cool to see so many fans in one place.

Honestly, I'm more looking forward to Camp Camp and RvB 14 than RWBY Chibi but the animation department has been so solid for some time now to where I don't doubt they'll do a good job with it. I suppose this way we could at least get more of our favorite fallen characters...
