The next one up with no special intro is Hikage because she is a handfull in more ways then one ;D Sorry about that but... here Hakage.
Hikage has an extra style she can change to when her health drops low "Frenzy mode" in this mode she gets new moves and attacks as well as another voice changes. There will be alot to go over with all her diffrent normal styles as well as Frenzy mode changes that I will just touch on the basics of frenzy mode then just add in a little key notes for each other art as it deals with frenzy. Drinking game have a drink everytime you read the word "Frenzy"
"Frenzy mode"
In frenzy Hikage changes her voice stance and has all new attacks. There is only one frenzy and you only get it once and it last for about a minute if you don't gain any health. Frenzy can only be had when low on health on then will you change but if you gain any health or time runs out you will change back. The down side is that you can be forced in to this mode by enemies and the transition into this mode is slow and you can be attack but you also can call on it yourself if you want for the added abilitiiys what are those abilitys.
In Frenzy Hikages attacks become much stronger and she has way more multi hitting combos and strings and just does overall a big amount of damage. she gets no speed increase because she is fast alone and does not need it. Hikage does get a nurf in her dash canceling because of this mode and its diffrent X attack.
In this mode her moves stay the same across the board and there is no property changes but the diffrent style will let you know what you can and can not do but I will get in to that later.
Yin mode/ non turnover form
In this form Hikage is pretty cool she has some of the quickest movement in the game but also some of the shortest range once you fevel up you can throw her knife but it has no real advantage to it even if you cancel out. The things that make Hikage stand out is her to X attacks the first X is a slide into a launcher and the second will just give you a launcher out of the slide with a rising attack. This is so strange to have a character that can do this of one button press that it changes her whole game as she is for the most part safe because she can get into an aircombo and launch all enemies faster then almost the entire cast. The other noticable thing about her is her dive speed is so quick and can be canceled with in jumps or as soon as it hits to do more dives and since she lands so fast you can just repeat. again another good move to have later on when you take damage from everything and need a way in and out. like I said her X is a dash move so dash canceling is hard with her and takes some time and even then its not pprefect because of her short dash range. She has great Y cancel attacks and her jumping YY land ground YY back into jumping YY can lead in to an infinite in some cases since you are always moving foward and there is no way for the enemy to attack since your always attacking. Hikage can do super jumps like Haruka but lacks the air control after.
Frenzy mode - in her Yin forms is the safest and easiest way to go into frenzy. with her limit breaks you can force your energy down just enough and with the stamina the style has you don't have to worry about a surprise death.
Yin mode / turnover transformed
In this form Hikage is givin more ground attacks like I said early the ability to throw the knife as well as some multi hitting options but nothing too crazy. Her ninpou's are intresting. Her first is just a bunch for slashes she makes while moving forward a little. Not really anything crazy but it does damage and does not leave you at a disadvantage. the next is her ground dark slash attacks. this ninpou is strong and is similar to Yomi's as you have to set it up since it takes 2 bars and you can not control it so if you miss thats a big lose. Her final air ninpou is similar too Yagyuu's and it's kinda hard to say who is better, Her's can be used to cover herself as well as punish grounded enemes while Yagyuu's can be used over and over and does not hit as much. None are on the level of Haruka's though.
Senran mode / secret art unlocked
One thing that is quick to change is Hikages speed. not only is her dashing diffrent but she has longer and more drawn out attacksleaving you more open to be hit. In this form its best to like always use that limit break and Hikage's is good like Homura. You also want to use alot of dive attacks and ninpou basicly keep it simple while the new range attacks she gets are nice they come to far in her strings to help you in this mode but they do have the advantage of being an attacks that covers your entire front on all sides.
Frenzy - Its harder to force frenzy on yourself in this style and she can be stunned easy so its not worth it to be stunned then killed.
Yang mode / bikini
In this form you will have to relay on Hikage's X attacks to launch enemies as fast as you can as well as her dive and air ninpou moves. she is another character that should be jumping alot as she would be in a state to just throw out the air ninpou when needed. In this style all ground attack because short range so you have to keep that in mind when you get caught up in her hack in slash style.
Frenzy - This is Hikage at her full power and also the easiest to kill if anything hits you, you are dead. While the power increase is great rarely would you need that much power for an enemy.
That does it for Hikage. she is another fun character that I know I left out a bunch of stuff but its just too many property changes if you get into everything on her diffrent styles. She is another well designed character that just shows how well the hebi girls are move trought out in fighting and style compared to hanzou.
Edit: tips for Fenzy mode - When Attacking its Best to use hard slash canceling when on the ground. What this mean is just hit the hard attack button once and cancel with dash and hit it again. one slash is counted as a triple hit and the slash is slow so to keep attacking and not suffer the speed draw backs of this form its best to only attack like this unless you are ready to send the enemy into the air for a combo. Also hits grounded enemies.
