Over a year ago I got the limited physical edition for Shinovi Versus, the 'Let's Get Physical Edition' at an EB Games and I love it. I then got the LE for Deep Crimson; the Double D Edition' last fall, and I loved that too. If possible I wanna be able to get physical versions of all the Senran Kagura games.
Like all of us here I'm really looking forward to Estival Versus, and that 'Endless Summer' Limited Edition. It's been made available to US retailers like last month hasn't it? And it's slated for release in March. Thing is, I'm a Canadian and no Canadian retailers have it available for pre-order just yet..
I really hope it becomes available soon, I don't wanna have to try and pre-order it from the US and deal with cross border shipping and stuff, or worse, just get the DIGITAL VERSION.
I wonder what's taking so long, has there been any word that they just won't have it available for Canadian retailers, or is it just taking it's time?
I thought about just waiting but now I'm getting a bit nervous, especially since I finally got a PS4 during the holidays and Estival Versus was one of the reasons why I got it.

You can buy it off of Amazon.

You can buy it off of Amazon. Off the the Amazon US site? I've thought about that actually, but like I said I don't want to have to try and deal with cross border shipping and whatnot. If it's my only choice for a Physical edition then I just might have to do it. But the possibility of pre-ordering it at my local EB games is not entirely out of question, just yet.. Why does the biggest game of the series (in the sense that it's on console and stuff) get this treatment in CANADA I wonder. I've pre-ordered and bought my first 2 LEs all at local EB Games stores.

Was there any difference with the pre order dates for the past games?
Idk if they'll help, but maybe contact Xseed about it.
Unless you can cancel the order on amazon. I'd say maybe wait till February before considering a US version.
I'll keep ya posted if I hear or read anything about the pre order dates.

The pre-order dates for the past two games have always been at least a few months before the actual release date. DC was pushed back so it was like 4 months. I hope the Xseed guys will have an answer for this too. I haven't ordered on Amazon.com yet, that's a semi-last resort. To going digital if it's too much anyways (60 USD is about 85 CAD man, and that's before shipping and that cross border stuff like import taxes or customs..) That'd be much appreciated, thanks.

Another question is if the US date is a guarantee or a place holder. Like ya said DC was postponed a few months. So maybe that's the case with EV as well & they can't give official date to everyone just yet. I know the pre orders open up in EU 2 months before US. So maybe there'll be a small difference with US & CAN as well.
I hope it opens soon for ya. It's a pain when games are digital only especially for systems like WiiU & Vita.

Thanks, that eases my mind a bit. This would be a very particular and awful case of 'no import for you' because Canada is PART of North America, and we have received all of the SK LEs before as well. I really don't see why this game in particular would get this treatment.
