www.siliconera.com/2012/12/30/senran-kagura-burst-to-see-japanese-nintendo-eshop-release/Senran Kagura producer, Kenichiro Takaki, hopes to bring the series to the west by localizing Senran Kagura Burst and releasing it as a Nintendo eShop download outside Japan. In order for that to happen, however, there needs to be an eShop version of the game in Japan in the first place. That part just got taken care of. Senran Kagura Burst has a listing on the Japanese Nintendo eShop, and is slated for download release soon. The download version of the game will be released in Japan on January 10th for 5,980 yen. Like the retail version, the download version also includes the original Senran Kagura: Portrait of Girls with new enhancements. Meanwhile, on Twitter, Takaki tweeted in English this past week: “I’ll wrap the world in happy boobs next year.”' Although I don't really see why that the game needs to be on the JP eShop first, it's good to know that they're still thinking of the west in that regard. And with that Twitter statement, I really hope something is going to happen with this.

Here's one thing, how will he go about finding a publisher to localize this if we haven't reached community mission #4 yet. I can't help but say this since both games have visual novel segments.

Who would be the voice cast for the dub? My god that could be a mess, and the results could be well interesting, I'd be funny if the dub was like Last Alert's cheesiness.

If the anime is licensed, then we wouldn't have much of a problem with voice acting as the dub cast in the anime could be the same in the games. This is a reason why I want the anime to be licensed.

More and more things point to the western world getting this game. I'm liking this.

Game is up but I can't view the file size unless I have enough money to already buy the game and Im not giving Nintendo my credit card info so I can't view it. File size should be out there now though in the wild keep you eyes open for it.

Seems like very few people brought the game and those that did are not a part of any online scene because there has been no word of someone with it to comment on anything.
I did hear that someone tweeted the producer about the game and the price and he never replied back. Guess He really did drop Burst and MAQL handeled that game, he never even promoted the DL version game.
Don't know why the price is so high for the DL version.

For some odd reason they do not understand the physical version had added value to most. Only way to incentivize digital downloads is with discounts. Only reason I own 90% of my PC game sis because of steam and their ridiculous sales.
Only other rationale I can think of is only way to acquire it. Digital makes so much sense for developers (lower costs, no stock issues, etc.) yet many of them still do not get it.

Nintendo is stupid though Wii U the publishers can set there prices 3DS they can't they need to tell people why they see no need update there system to help publishers out.
