If only we know someone that can translate Japanese pretty well. I know someone from the NIS America forum but that's about it. .___.

Well that sucks, and here I thought they were going to make a new SK each year. Oh well. More time for everyone to enjoy SV and maybe New Wave.

Too busy making High School of the Dead card game pff
In serious though at least this means there not going to milk the series and lose integrity.

Was Shinovi Versus listed last year? I thought sometimes games were kept under wraps and then revealed at shows.

In serious though at least this means there not going to milk the series and lose integrity. To be honest, they have been seriously milking the series since the beginning of the year, just make the comparison between this year and last year merchandasing. I recently saw a topic on 2ch from someone who said he was beginning to suffer series fatigue... I wonder what would be the most wise course of action for Marvelous : let the series rest for some times/months before coming up with new titles, or announce a new game quickly, preferably before the end of the year and before the enthusiasm for the series die off ? Don't forget the anime series had poor sales. It may convince executives that the franchise has poor diversification value. We haven't had a new manga series for some time now, for example.

Sorry I forget to type "game" integrity. The anime sold bad? But I liked it I think let it rest as they need to plan the next move carefully especially with SV or the VITA issue. Go do something different so your mind is fresh, fans will still come back and you have the western side of things too, burst coming & the potential of SV.

Right. Refresh, gather new ideas, surprise us when you're ready. That's the best way to do it.

to tell the truth they have to do more. this market in japan us crazy and your can't sleep for a second. they should have teased a new game. they are slowing in a market that is about speed. if there is a convention in Tokyo and they don't have something new then they are messing up.

Really? Well if they do they better have something good I don't want them to do like they did for SV and just add 2 new schools and more characters ruining the platinum flawless 13 character line up. Because of this either they're going to have to force 20 characters each time to have something to do or yumi team and miyabi team only appear in some games or just not at all. Another thing is the tracking of yearly progression in 1-2 games time are the going to axe Ikaruga, Katsuragi and Haruka or remove them as mains? If so I don't think I can like this series that much anymore.

Ya. this is not based off an anime because if it was the anime would keep people aware of the brand. but now with no anime they neeed a lot of product to push the trick is pushing the right quality stuff and not what eveyone else is like toys.

Technically, we have had a new game with the reset/mobage port of New Wave... well, yes, it's not enough I hope it's an appetizer and new works will be annouced at TGS. When were the previous titles announced, again ? IIRC Burst was sometime in april, no ? Another thing is the tracking of yearly progression in 1-2 games time are the going to axe Ikaruga, Katsuragi and Haruka or remove them as mains? If so I don't think I can like this series that much anymore. Probably the reason why we have covered six months of SK time in two years or real time, and why we have yet to see a SK2. First game was designed to be a stand-alone, and now, they have to make-up a background, the thing about yomas and new characters and details along the way. It showed, especially in SV. They don't really know how to further the story without angering fans, I guess.
