Well, I mean, Arkham Knight won't even be at E3 since it launched on Friday I believe. But there's lots of great games, I'm surprised you won't care.

Videogames are expensive here so I can't allow myself to get any game is released.

Alright, so, Masahiro Sakurai, better known as Daddy Sakurai, the father of all Smash games, is going to be doing a Smash Direct at 10:30 AM EST on the 14th. He'll most likely talk about Lucas since he releases that day, then a dlc reveal. So thats a bit of pre-E3 It could be for other modes like he said. Just no horrendous story mode like in Brawl.

But that mode took up most development time which lead to one of the many things of Brawl being the black sheep. I'm just wanting something like Melee's adventure mode since of Smash Run on the 3Ds version.

Smash Run sadly isn't all it's cracked up to be. There's only one map, you can't choose what kind of match you get at the end, and your rewards are randomized, so even if you win, you could get nothing out of it. Not that that matters, since you can't use customs online, but hey!

I don't see a problem with the SSE taking up most of Brawl's dev time. Brawl was still a fun game. I liked the SSE too, though sometimes the levels got repetitive.
Smash Run had the potential to be AMAZING, but for some reason Sakurai thought it was a good idea to make it local only.

Oh yeah, if it had had online, that would have changed a lot, even if it was still the one map. I'm still miffed the 3DS version doesn't get the Hyrule temple stage. I've loved that stage since Melee.

There wasn't a lot explained, so there's not really any plotholes to be had. Its just a fun, cool sequence of Nintendo characters coming together to accomplish a big thing. Its one of the Nintendo adventures that doesn't require writing. Unless you're going to tell me Mario 64 was the pinnacle of writing? "Alright Miyamoto, show us the story." "Bowser kidnaps Peach in her own castle. Mario goes into paintings to get stars that are never explained as to why they lock doors or how that even works. I think the biggest flaw with Subspace was it never explained anything or just left me asking too many questions. Who are the Subspace Emmisary, why are they attacking these established characters and for what reason? Now if the cutsey cutscenes did that I wouldn't complain but they didn't. The thing to establish is who the villains are. You aren't introduced to Tabuu until right at the end meaning you have zero investment in his character or just don't care. It's like how Satan appears right at the end of Lords of Shadow and I couldn't care cus I was invested in fighting the 3 Lords of Shadow to take onboard the "real villain" I hate it when things do that, you have the villain established only to find it's just a red herring (Looking at you Iron Man 3 and Dark Knight Rises) and you got 5 minutes to establish the "real villain" when by that point, you're 10+ hours into the story mode to care. The opening cutscene could have been how Wind Waker established itself. A simple tapestry showing the origins of Master Hand and Tabuu, how Tabuu wanted more power and seduced Wario, Ridley, Bowser, and Ganondorf to do his evil bidding. Then cut to the fight between Mario and Kirby. Not answering the questions left SE a broken mess. Also it could've used a better ending. It just stops when Tabuu is destroyed. I was hoping for some closure on the established arcs. Lucas feels he's become a stronger and more confident person from his adventure. Or how Donkey Kong settles things with Bowser for turning him into a trophy (cus we saw this with him and Ganondorf) maybe have Pit praised for his aid and have Snake and Sonic say their goodbyes before returning to their worlds. Nope, just close on trophy shots. Also yes I meant by the game in general in it's balance.

I too enjoyed the SSE. It was a nice addition to the game.
