I've been wondering what the Vita version would look like. Also there is still a good 2 months before the game comes out. I fear what happened with EV will happen here. The Vita version won't be shown until its out.

So they're denying the reasons for not bringing it over and at least are not denying the possibility of it coming to the west while making pretty clear it's unlikely to happen. That's not clarifying anything right? It seems like them being politically correct...

I don't know why they don't want to bring DOA Xtreme 3 here... maybe it's like something about rating and all. Oh well I'll just grab a copy in jap from play asia but it still suck. Team Ninja sure did a bad work here, especially with all the great fans of the series(like me) which bought ALL of the games(not only the xtreme ones) and now, after almost 10 years the want to deny to us one of the most anticipated game of the year? That's really a low move, really! EDIT: And they didn't even put Christie or Leifang or Tina in it, especially the last 2, they have always been in all DOA's games. I just hope they'll fix it somehow cuz they're the best characters.

Did Itagaki take the balls of the company with him when he left?
People can say what they want about PA, but at least they owned up to their statement.
Both KT & the SJWs involved need to grow up & face their critics instead of blaming it on BS.
Update: Vae Victis updated with a new vid, covering this & other games that were censored this year.
I need another asist if ya don't mind Dilbert. =D

Did Itagaki take the balls of the company with him when he left? From the look of things I think he did, wonder if he will make a rival fighting game.

According to Play Asia due to higher demand they are dropping the price of PS4 and PSV versions. If you've pre-ordered already it will automatically adjust down.
Good for Play Asia, I am still holding off for slim chance it comes to NA.

I just worry supporting English Asia releases will give more companies an easy out to not bring games to NA and EU. You may be right, and if so I will break down eventually.

I think any company that might see an English Asia release as a way out, will either do that way out, or not take it out of Japan at all. Importing the English Asia release, if anything, may show the developers there is a very live niche market for it over here (as I'm sure they'll have figures where their English Asia release is being sold). Not buying it sends off the message that there's no demand for these games here at all. It's not as if these developers have any access to your reason as to why you're not getting the game. So by not getting it, you're piled together with those not interested as well as those against it. That's how I think about it anyway. I'm personally still somewhat on the fence for this game to be honest. The fanservice looks great, but there's two important points here that leave me in doubt. 1) The gameplay. Is it really fun? It looks like a collection of mini-games with awesome boob- and buttphysics. That seems like softcore pornography that is probably too interactive to properly serve as softcore pornography... 2) The DLC. If I'm getting it for the Vita, I can't get Asian DLC unless I go through some annoying stuff. Is a DOA fanservice game really worth it without the millions of DLC costumes?

This is always the challenge though when it comes to demands placed on a company. Digital/physical - If they only release digital and you don't buy it they say no interest. If you do they say digital is fine for future releases. Censorship - Don't buy and again, no market. Do buy then censorship is no issue and will do so again. Now I see "English Asia" as yet another way for companies to ask me to do something not crazy about to get games I want. I like rewarding companies who bring over titles to NA, do physical release, and don't censor, such as XSeed has done with many games. I get the challenges niche games deal with and financial risks companies have. As middle ground I would like more open and honest communication. Right now Koei Tecmo is having a dialog in Europe about the Vita version of Nights of Azure after not planning on bring it west at all. It may not come, but seeing them engage and get feedback from fans is a nice gesture.

It may not come, but seeing them engage and get feedback from fans is a nice gesture. I completely agree with you that open and honest communication is the best way here, so that there can be clarity regarding the demands of the customers here instead of 'statement non-buys' that never reach the company as that statement. For all cases in which there is no such thing (because the company might not communicate), I think it is good to realize that not buying never sends a message to the publisher other than a lack of interest. When the digital games sell well, the publisher might be willing to be more open to suggestions, wondering whether fans might prefer physical games. When an English Asia release gets exported (from their perspective of course) a lot, they might wonder if there is a way to get it to the West in some sort of low-profile manner. When it is censored... well, to be honest, I think most (niche) publishers realize now that censorship is not the way to go, as their fanbase can be so incredibly harsh on that. Now back to DOAX3... Can I justify this in any other way outside of fanservice..? Ugh, dilemmas...
