But stuff like that will happen no matter what, doesn't mean you should censor your game.

YEEESSSS! YOU GO IDEA FACTORY! TESTIFY! *Hears no games* NOOOOO! GET OVER YOURSELF, AMERICA! I HATE THAT!
Seriously, if games like that only concern gamers like us, it really shouldn't be a problem to bring them over as is. I mean, who is actually having a cow over uncensored games. No one should listen to those people as they are simply looking to better their own image by putting others down. Come on! How old are you? Get over yourselves and let us enjoy our Japanese games!

If you guys get some free time you should watch the vid I was talking about. If you wanna learn more about this also checkout Vee & Leopirate vids on this subject. This is the most important issue in gaming right now. This needs to be discuss & have people open their eyes. Because if we keep turning a blind eye to it, gaming will die. People who think its just gonna end at these games are idiots & aren't seeing the big picture in this.

I think there's a difference we're not understanding here between the SJW's call for censorship and the, what I think reasonable, call for more diversity Just because I'm all for more diversity doesn't entail censoring those appealing to more standard character tropes and stereotypes.

I have nothing against diverse characters. Considering how well the Indivisible kickstarter went. I feel alot of gamers are open to the idea to more diverse characters in gaming.
The issue I'm having is that these stupid middle class white people aka SJWs. Is that they think they know better then everyone else. All they do is complain & when someone tells them to grow up. They say they're being harassed & bullied & want everyone to defend them.
Honestly if they want games with diverse characters. They should get off their lazy ass & make it themselves. Instead of bulling people to do it for them.

But that doesn't mean you have to listen to them. Your going to have people hating your work no matter what. You just ignore it and keep making the game. A bit late, but the problem isn't making the game. They can still make & sell it over there just fine. The real problem is that things won't get localized here, because things like this just make them not want to localize games due to all the problems and tasks they have to do to try to sell it here. And even worse, if they dont do all these changes and PC social media trashes it, they may lose a lot of sales.

I doubt it affects sales very much. I mean GTA, South Park, they all go through this stuff. They just need ignore it and keep making their games. People who would complain about these kind of things would never buy the games to begin with.

Japan censored The Witcher 3, for example. Japan.

Which I find is weird, not for being censored, but why not just make an AO edition. Japan allows that if I'm right.

That rating isn't equivalent to "you can now have a free pass for anything," it's just an age guideline like any other, still based on Japan's cultural standards. What's more, that rating is still higher than what the original Senran 3DS games got (CERO D), which is in turn still higher than what they ironically got in the US, which was a simple T. Witcher 3 in Japan: 18+ Senran Burst in Japan: 17+ Senran Burst in the US: 13+

Japan has a much stricter rating system in both violence and nudity. If they can have it for 17+ we should easily be able to have it without it getting AO.

Here, a game that was totally cool for 17+ got their AO and was still censored.

Oh I understand your point I was just saying. I'm not 100% sure what JP laws and JP Sonys rules are. I know they are kind of uptight about nudity. But as far as I know the only rule we have is consoles don't allow AO games.
I believe that this censorship is about rules and laws, not people having a hissy fit. :3

Hey doods if you wanna show support to IF besides buying their uncensored games. Then consider signing 1MillionGamersStrong petition on change.org.
I'm done discussing this issue. Because I'd just be repeating myself at this point & I don't like being redundant.XP
Have a great weekend, later doods~

They say they're being harassed & bullied & want everyone to defend them. Honestly if they want games with diverse characters. They should get off their lazy ass & make it themselves. Instead of bulling people to do it for them. Just a minor point, and I know I'm late and I know you said you'd stop discussing this, but the issue I have with all this 'SJW'-bashing is that, indeed, the people you are referring to are annoying, irritating and often ridiculously close-minded, but the bad thing is that, what you're using as a derogatory term, is social justice. Now, most of you seem like good people, indeed agreeing with a call for more diversity, while averse of censorship. I'm glad that my fellow fans of hyper tits crazy battle (or whatever that weird direct translation comes down to) are not close-minded jerks like half of the internet seems to consist of, but still, I think words can do a lot, and I would like to disencourage you guys to associate terms like social justice for people like these. Implicit racism as well as sexism is a widely studied issue with a lot of proper scientific research backing up the fact that your origin (and as such, your name), skin color as well as your gender and other unrelated issues lead to a lower chance at jobs, while equally well qualified. Striving for social justice, and equal and fair treatment for all people based on their actual merits, not on irrelevant issues, should never be associated with anything negative. It's inherently a positive thing (unless you're a sexist/racist that thinks some gender or some race should be on top (not being too specific here, because, although institutional racism and sexism works one way, we all know a couple of black power-activists or non-equalist feminists)), and the moment it gets associated with something negative, that means that the term is simply misused. If justice is no longer just anymore, whatever it is we termed justice, just really isn't justice. So I don't know, it's kind of a common term in these circles, and I get that, but I think the moment that there will be serious talk of social justice, it will cause a lot of people familiar with the whole SJW debacle to shut it off on the basis of the association with close-minded nutjobs. So let's be reasonable people, and not associate what is inherently a good cause with what is essentially a misplaced focus on the 'negative' from some sad attentionseeking perpetual victims. I mean, there are SO MANY forms of media with strong non-sexualized female characters that just get completely passed up on (currently playing Ys: Memories of Celceta that, while formulaic and unoriginal, has some strong female leads, and even Psycho Pass seems to have an incredibly good female lead), but instead, they cry foul every time they see what may or may not resemble a breast, while at the same time yelling 'free the nipple' and other 'let's be open about sexuality'-slogans. Ugh, bandwagoners... So yeah, words have a lot of power, and it somewhat pains me to see such an important issue to be driven into a corner of annoying people looking for something to hate...
