The Senran Kagura timeline can be really difficult to understand sometimes, due to its nature to change up and even retcon things frequently. Therefore it can be hard to understand where the series is headed in terms of story. Lucky for you, I've created this map to help better understand the timeline. Through my analysis, SK's timeline is rather tame and straight-forward most of the time compared to others like Zelda and BlazBlue, so it is easy to figure out. NOTE: This timeline map does not cover Bon Appetit, the Shinobi Heart stories, the Deep Crimson DLC stories, the manga, and the anime. It only covers the main games in the series. Hope this helps. ^^

Poog's nemesis ChaddyFantome did a similar timeline a while ago. You might want to talk to him about it.

Wasn't deep crimson the continuation of hanzo's story in burst and the versus series the continuation of hebijo?

Wasn't deep crimson the continuation of hanzo's story in burst and the versus series the continuation of hebijo? Actually, no. It can go both ways from either story, considering Shinovi Versus still acknowledges the Hanzo story in Burst. That's why I linked their red lines into one circle because the path splits into three timelines from there. What makes it confusing is that Deep Crimson's first chapter is a retelling of Hanzo's story as a recap to what happened in Burst. I just never bring it up for simplicity's sake.
