They're making a new Friday the 13th game now? Because the one on NES went so well. *sarcasm*

I don't really understand the big deal. Consoles should allow AO games, seems stupid not to.

I've been keeping tabs on the Friday the 13th game. I'm not sure, but I think it looks pretty good. Plus the devs are located in my home state, so that's also cool. And if it gets an AO rating...hey, least the PC version's uncensored.
Probably one of the few kickstarter games I might pick up next year. I guess.

They're making a new Friday the 13th game now? Because the one on NES went so well. *sarcasm* NES F13th is one of the greatest and revolutionary horror games of all time. the music is repetitive, but it is generations ahead of its time and more mature than Resident Evil games, which look like linear action her omovie rentals compared to NES F13th, where no one is scripted to survive, and it has Open world and Survival elements that are still rare these days. no save point hand holding, no cheesy dialogue, children can be killed, 6 playable camp counselors (3 male, 3 female), and tons of other genius things about it. the new multiplayer focused F13th game is looking awesome and makes Dead by Daylight look like a cheap cashgrab. there's a lot more heart being put into this new game. and no don't compare it to Evolve just because its asymetrical multiplayer. F13th The Game is a totally different multiplayer experience.

If it does, fine. But I won't be surprised if it doesn't. I just don't think Friday the 13th translates well into video games.

It is fun to play. I got nightmares playing F13th back then when NES was the only thing to play. everything about it is awesome. sure the infinite throwing weapons was arcadey, but it is still one of the hardest and most brutal games. and while other games where just glorifying a single character, Friday the 13th provided 6 playable camp counselors with their own unique stats. there's tons of great things to say about it, it captures the essense of survival horror and even makes the classic resident evil games look like action hero shooters.
the new game awesome and captures the essence of the franchise in more immersive ways, of course it isn't perfect, but this is generations beyond any other slasher game. even Dead by Daylight fans immediately drop and trash talk that game after realizing how F13th The Game raises the horror slasher standards in every way. and unlike Evolve, F13th actually looks FUN, replayable and amazing!!!! and there's more to see and learn about it!! it sure beats those AAA horror themed game that places scripted story above an unpredictable open horror game like F13th, and F13th perfectly translates wonderful into a video game, this game is the first time into a more realistic and immersive modern level of gaming that F13th enters. there hasn't been a F13th game since the NES. even with the beta there's already a growing fan following for it.
it sure beats the usual mainstream horror titles and formulas. even though DbD already did something similiar before, comparing DbD to F13th is like comparing any Ikkitousen beat em up videogame to Senran Kagura Estival Versus. It's no contest, the latest game in the genre raises the bar in every category!!

perhaps the minimap will be toggable, I saw footage of someone having no minimap, then it only appeared after they left a hiding spot and went towards where the cops are at. it looks greater without minimap
