Hey, I'm Kazanma the Swift, or please just call me Kaz. I decided to join this forum due to seeing something that I felt I needed to join in on, due to a few different factors, and the fact that I've finally gotten to where I feel comfortable following SIA's Twitter, and etc., since I'm no longer avoiding spoilers for Senran Kagura 2, a game I just got to play on my 17th birthday, December 5th of this year.
First off, please forgive me for not knowing how most of this works. I never actually joined any forums in the past, so this format is a bit foreign to me. It'll take some getting accustomed to.
I started to get into this series when I started to get into Action Games in 2013. I bought Senran Kagura Burst in December of 2013, and despite seeing all of the fanservice (that I judged the game on the 3DS eShop for showcasing), it became one of my favorite games. The combat was fun and required focus (I love a challenge), the character models were detailed, and I loved reading through the Visual Novel sections, and getting invested in the characters! Hell, even characters I hated at the start became characters I enjoyed, after learning both sides (particularly Haruka, since I didn't like her after just the Hanzo Story).
And Katsuragi, Hikage, and Ikaruga have all become very beloved characters in my book, with the first of those 3 being my favorite character in general. She's actually a bit of an inspiration for me, outside of her perverted moments. And that's just from Burst, and reading up a bit on her story in Shinovi Versus.
And I've been waiting to catch up to many of my peers with Senran Kagura 2: Deep Crimson, and attempting to avoid spoilers, for over a year. This year, I got to play it, and it was the best game I played all year. Everything I loved about Burst was improved upon in Deep Crimson. I loved all of the characters equally more.
Sadly, I have no way of playing the Versus games. My family only really has Nintendo Consoles, I don't have my own PC, and just about everything says I can't play them for a while. I will get to them eventually, but that will be a long time from now. Sadly, that means that I probably won't post here much until I do more research on the story on the other games, so I know what people are saying. I'm going to participate in the Open Letter, but after that, I won't do a whole lot.
This was awfully long, but I think that just saying it all now is a good idea. Now to get to what I meant to do, and to find some of my friends on this site...
