So, yesterday, Capcom announced The Disney Afternoon Collection, consisting of six emulated NES games based on old Disney cartoons, including DuckTales, Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers, Darkwing Duck, and TaleSpin. The platforms are PC, PS4, and Xbox One, no Switch version, which isn't really too much of a heartbreak for me, but at the same time, something told me, "This is going to be a shitstorm..." because a collection like this is generally made more to appeal to older players with nostalgia for the original NES games, and now here we go, not on a Nintendo system. Personally, I'm happy about the collection either way. Am I disappointed about the lack of a Switch version? A little bit, but in my humble opinion, it seems like a good package for any system. It's DuckTales 1 and 2, Chip and Dale 1 and 2, Darkwing Duck, and TaleSpin, with Time Attack, leaderboards, and Boss Rushes, all for just twenty bucks. It's a good deal, and I'd love to play this on any system, even XBONE, to tell you the truth.
